Hi there,
I have stayed at both, most recently at BLT. It has been quite awhile since I stayed @ CR, but am fairly certain that the balconies are similar in size. If I were to guess, I would say that the balcony @ BLT is just a smidge bigger. We were very impressed with the size of the balcony and forgot how nice it is to have one. You won't be disappointed with either!

sWe stayed in the Garden wing of Contemporary overlooking the monorail/parking lot in a standard room 2007 (newly renovated) & we just returned from a stay in in a standard view studio at BLT.
There was no balcony in our CR GW room. O forget which floor it was on but it was not ground level. You could open the sliding glass door & lean against the railing, but not even a shoe could fit out there.
At BLT there were 2 chairs & a tiny table still room for our cooler and kids to stand for fireworks.
