DM (Patabel) started hers a month to month & half ago. She starts early and freezes them. She gives a ton of them as gifts for the holidays, so she has to start early. We were orginally going to go to Chicago to celebrate the holidays with our family at Thanksgiving, which is why she started so early, but we're now going at Christmas instead.
Planning on doing that Monday. Then I'll freeze it for a week or so...pull it out, decorate and I'm ready to go. Seems like less work if I break it up, than to do it all in one day.
Our son made a request for 2 types of cookies so my wife made them last weekend and we are hoping that they make it to Afghanistan in time for Christmas. Don't know if she will be in the mood to make any more.
Have fun baking and enjoy the Holidays.
I don't do a lot of holiday baking but do candy making (fudge, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered potato chips). I'll start this when we get back from Disney.
Not yet........I have the week of Dec 8th off, so that is when I will get baking. If I bake too early, DH finds them in the freezer, and then I will be short...
Just have been busy planning, and buying ingredients.
