where the parents are more excited about going to Disneyland than the kids are? My favourite is the one of the dad in the goofy hat sliding down the stairs!! :happytv: (I'm in Canada, hopefully those commercials are in the US as well?!)

Well that's how my husband and I are feeling right now. Less than 3 weeks and we'll be there!!! The kids don't know about it yet and well we're like little kids ourselves right now with excitement.

Isn't it a great feeling, the anticipation of it all?!!

:jumping2:

Sorry, I don't have a question, I just had to share because I can't talk about it out loud here at home when the kids are awake!! ;)

That is so me, I am sure I am more excited then the kid for these trips.

:rotfl: I live in Canada too, so I know which commericals you are talking about. I love them. So funny. But its because its the truth. I think in a certain way, adults have more reason to be excited because they have the experience of going and being a child themself, but also to see the glow in their childrens eyes. In a way the adults have the upper hand. I wish they would just show those commercials more often. They just make me laugh.

I dont know if I have seen that commercial but boy does that sound like me! I get so excited I cant sleep the night before! Dh and I lie in bed awake thinking about that "I'm too excited to sleep" commercial!

We never tell our kids because they have no sense of time. I would pick dd up from school and she would ask if we are going then or when they go to bed if we are going tomorrow. The waiting would be impossible for them. It is for me I know! :rotfl:

BTW, I love the threads about someone excited for DL. :goodvibes

I don't think I have seen that one but we have some similar ones!! I also don't tell my kids because of the repeated questions, but I don't do it like a big surprise either. I wish I could pull it off but we only go the way you drive to DL when we are going there and no other time so they know immediately as soon as I go that way!!

How exciting for you! I don't have kids but if I did I would totally keep it a secret too. I think it's more fun for the whole family that way and then the kids can be in their ultimate excitement stage when they get there. I find that from the time they find out to the time they actually go, a little bit of the excitement wears off. Anyways I haven't seen that commercial but I have seen a few other ones and whenever they come on I tell everyone in the room to SHHHHH!!! and then I turn up the volume so loud.

I could NOT keep that secret...we are going in 3 weeks...I am SOOO excited, I think since i booked - Ive have a Permenant smile one!! :cloud9:

Oh, yes! I agree that the anticipation is almost as good as being there! Especially when we have places like here to feed eachother's excitement at. ;)

We're T-Minus 15 days until our week long trip in April. I am getting SO EXCITED!!!! This will be our longest trip there EVER. WHOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!

:cool1: :rotfl: :yay:

I am usually over on the scrapbooking section of these boards but I am thinking about a quick trip to DL in Oct so I thought I would check out this section tonight. I love those excited commercials. My favorite is the one with the 2 kids giggling in bed and the mother comes in and says something like it's late go to sleep. The little boy says "We're too excited to sleep!" as he giggles from his toes. Then the mother goes back to bed and asks the father if he is asleep and he say "No I'm too excited." It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling all over everytime I see it.

I've been searching in vain on YouTube trying to find the commercial I was talking about, but haven't had any luck.

Ive been looking on youtube as well to see if I can find any to post but I havent had luck either. Good luck with your search. Im gonna keep on lookin
