I love these. I can't seem to find them available online but that may be because they'll be out in a few weeks.

They are also available in black.

Argggggggghhhhhhh! Now I want a pair. And I haven't worn Keds since the early 90's.

I used to wear Keds as a kid. Now, I wear Reebok's. Saddle shoes look? Don't like them (JMO).

They remind me of the saddle shoes we wore in Catholic HS in the 80s

Every old style is new again ....
Lately I'm feeling like the styles from my Jr-Sr high school days are back! These remind me of my first pair of bowling shoes too !!!

the same thing is going on with school supplies-the stores are full of the old "peachie" folders, and today i bought dd folders and spiral notebooks with of all things printed on them-kiss and ac/dc:lmao:

we're getting off cheap on school clothes this year-dd ransacked dh's bureau and found all his circa 80's and 90's concert t's, now they've taken up residence in her closet:thumbsup2

Those are a blast from the saddle shoe past! I wore saddles too in high school with our pom pom uniforms! I think I will have to get DD a pair when they come out! I guess if I wore them the first time I am too old this time right?

I thought the same thing when I seen them only I was in Catholic HS in 68 :lmao:

Can Neru Jackets be far behind??? :lmao:

Down South, we called them "saddle oxfords", but, yes, my first thought was that is what they look like (except reversed- the "saddle" is usually the black/brown part, and the rest of the shoe is white/tan).

Yep, they looik like "backward" saddle oxfords.

We didn't wear saddles in Catholic school in the 70's in my area, nor did my sisters in the 60's. Our diocese was a penny-loafer kind of place, LOL. My DS just picked out some loafers for dress shoes, though his Catholic school allows sneakers now, and that's what most kids wear -- he has decided that he might wear the loafers every day because he thinks they are more comfortable than sneakers. Had to tell him that's why penny loafers have stood the test of time -- the things get more comfy the older they are. I've got 20 yo Weejuns in my closet that I still wear all the time.
