if so from where? I'm having a hard time finding anything locally - I'm really not that picky - everything just seems so dark in the stores or hideous floral prints!

I checked Poterry Barn online but that's all I can think of -I do like some of there's - just hoping to find the I've gotta have that one - ya know?

I was given a gift of a mattress one time ordered from Home Shopping Network, was told it was expensive, the mattress went bad fast, but not sure if that was because I didnt replace my old box springs

I check Overstock when I'm looking for something new.

you might also try bed, bath and beyond; home goods; TJ maxx; and kohl's. when we moved into our house 11 years ago, i found a GORGEOUS comforter set at wal-mart, but they had no other items to go with it, so i called the manufacturer directly and ordered the matching curtains. sort of pricey-they cost twice as much as the comforter set! but totally worth it.

Neiman Marcus has a great selection. They have a few newvselections from Dena Designs that are just beautiful. I haven't seen these anywhere else.

we're always looking for really good sheets, and honestly have a hard time finding them. My dd's friend slept over the other week, and she brought her own pillow, and when I picked up her pillow I *had* to look and see what name was on the pillowcase - it was the softest, nicest flannel I've ever felt. It was Lands End. I'm going to order from them pretty soon.

I second Overstock.com. It's been a few years, but I've ordered some very high thread-count sheets from them and been very happy with them.

I've had good luck with JC Penney, especially their clearance items.

llbean has nice bedding also, both regular and flannel. we live by the store so don't order online, but we're very happy with them.

I recently ordered a duvet cover and shams from pottery barn and am really happy with the purchase! Also a couple years ago I ordered a duvet cover and shams from west elm, and was very happy with that too.

When we got our new bed last year I ordered our sheets from Overstock and I'm REALLY happy with them. Got two different sets - different brands and the quality is great and the price was reasonable and they almost always have a sale or coupons.

Check out Domestications.com

I've ordered Egyptian cotton sheets and quilts from them over years and I have been very happy with my purchases.

I ordered bedding from Overstock, as well, and I really like it. Plus their customer service was great.

My order was delivered to a house a few blocks away--say my house number is 1231 and theirs was 1213. I kept checking for my order and it said "delivered" and yet I didn't have it so Overstock sent me a new one by overnight delivery. The neighbor did not realize the package was there for about a week because they weren't expecting a package and the mail carrier had put it in an out of the way spot. When they brought it back to me, I called Overstock to let them know and to ask about returning it and they told me to keep it at no charge so I wouldn't be more inconvenienced. I thought that was pretty nice of them.

I found a bedding set I liked on the Macy's website, but I'm a tactile person and I wanted to feel the fabric, so we went to the mall, where they not only had exactly what I wanted, but also they had a "double", it felt very luxurious, and it WAS ON SALE! I used my Macy's card (paid off when bill came) and saved another 10%. Bed skirt, duvet, 2 pillow shams, 2 decorative shams, 2 accent pillows, fitted sheet, top sheet, and 2 standard pillowcases: orignal price $265, my price $84. It looks gorgeous in "The Princess Room," one of my guest rooms (and no, not a Disney princess!). My most recent guest in that room said she felt like she was sleeping in a luxurious hotel.

I've also ordered from Overstock.com. I have used Target.com too for DS16's Notre Dame bedding. They have a huge selection online that you don't see in the stores. I have gotten most of my sheets at Target lately. They are really nice quality (high thread counts, soft) for a great price. I also like that they have elastic all the way around the fitted sheets so they stay on the bed well. I have been getting their bamboo sheets lately and they are fantastic :thumbsup2
