I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair) by Sandi Thom. I heard it on Sirius and just love that song. I'm not a music connoisseur at all, so many of you may not like it. I love the beat of the music and it's very catchy. Sandi Thom and Corinne Bailey Rae are both really big in England right now, I think they're both quite good but I prefer Corinne Bailey Rae slightly more.

Well I don't like either... but Sandi Thom bugs the heck out of me. A punk rocker wouldn't have flowers in their hair - and one guy who contacted Radio 1 thought that she was saying 'Oh I wish a was a prawn cracker with flowers in my hair'.

Either way, don't believe all the nonsense about her starting out in her basement and pulling in tens of thousands of web viewers purely by word of mouth. She apparently signed to a record label last year, and the upsurge of people logging on to her webcam only happened once it had been publicized through the general media, not to mention that she hired a PR company way before the general public had heard of her.

In fact her single (the punk rocker one) was actually released last October but only got to no.55. So this is a re-release.
