I met a sweet young girl 2 years ago who is now going through a bone marrow transplant. She is in college. I think they had to shave her head ( opposed to losing it to chemo, but I'm not sure) and her younger brother shaved his too. He's going to keep shaving it til hers grows back. Sweet thing for a teenaged guy to do for his older sister.

Yes, I have a cried a few times to that song. My boyfriend's younger sister just went through all of the chemo and hair loss due to leukemia and it always reminds me of her. They did do a great job on that song.

It is a beautiful song, 3 women in our office have either gone through chemo or are currently going through chemo and have lost their hair.
The first time I heard the song, I was driving through our development, I had to pull over, I was crying so hard I could not drive.

at the end of the album 'feels like today" is the song "oaklahoma texas line"

the track is long...after the song plays (it's about 3 mins)...there's some "dead air"...and the "skin" plays. (the total "track time" for"Oaklahoma-Texas Line" is 8 min 18 sec)

it's not listed on the CD (although due to popularity, new CDs released might have it listed and cut out as it's own track)...but "attached" to the last song on the album.

in other words..listen through the 'dead air' to get to it.

I just checked on my mp3 player - 'Skin' starts around 3:55 on the last track
