Have you had an ADR before park opening at DHS?

Please tell me about your early morning ADR for Play n Dine. I have a ressie for 8:05 and the park opens at 9:00. Based on reviews I am not in love with the idea of dining there, but if the experience is like an early ADR at Crystal Palace I can cope with it.

Are you escorted from the gate to the restaurant or do you walk yourself back there?

Are the photopass cast members available for pics in a fairly empty park?

What areas of the park can we access after we eat?

Thanks in advance!

It is much like the CP in the sense everything is roped off along the side of the street on the way to the restaurant. It is the first (or second ) street off the "main street" so you can't go any further. The breakfast is pretty painful if you don't have small children who appreciate the characters. The food is sub par but i tolerate it for the characters for my kids. If the park opens by 10- you can get as far as the rope on main street.

We always make an early reservation for there!! We love being the first ones in the park - we also find that we are often the only ones in the restaurant for most of our meal. (We have been in Jan the past two years) We got awesome character interaction and my kids loved to dance around. I wouldn't pick it for the food but I think the food is good. We are always out by rope drop and have a great time!
