It's great that your A1C is in the lower range. However, if you've had training in the nature of diabetes type 2, you know that the damage has already been done. It doesn't reverse itself. Keeping your A1C in the lower range helps with keeping your disease from progressing. I've been diagnosed as type 2 for over 15 years. It's been my job to keep myself safe from the effects of diabetes on my body and therefore keeping my extended family safe from having me in a more compromised condition.
This includes getting myself protected from the virus.
As far as the virus is concerned, across the US, the trend is to getting to the point that anyone can get the vaccine. There's a timeline in most states. You can easily access this through the CVS website, which I commend CVS for making information so readily available.
'Jumping ahead' in the line is no longer an issue so long as you are somewhere in the parameters. It's now more important to just get vaccinated. The time for being judgemental is over. It's time to move on and for everyone that is not too afraid to make every effort to get vaccinated. The shots are out there. All you have to do is go get them.
There are only a few states that require you to be a resident of their state, just in case this is stopping some. And, apparently demand in some states is a factor in supply, meaning if the shots are not being dispersed quick enough, the order goes down. Don't let that happen to your area. Get out there and get your protection if you want it.
