I know we did this not too long ago, but I'd love to hear if any of you have recently tried any "miracle products" that have actually worked!

I just tried Certain Dri antiperspirant this week and it is truly a miracle for me--I cannot BELIEVE how well it works! I had tried everything else but this product does what nothing else will. I am so thrilled I found it; I can lift my arms with confidence now!

Also the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser--we're moving out of our apartment and I was lamenting all the black scuffs/kids' greasy fingerprints on the walls, but I tried the Magic Eraser and it got EVERYTHING off! Amazing!

One more: Crest Whitestrips. Decided on a whim to try these since I had a coupon and they truly did whiten and brighten my teeth. I've actually been getting compliments on my sparkling smile.
:teeth:

Anyone else have a great product to report?

Have to agree with you on the Crest Whitestrips. I haven't tried anything else.

George Foreman grill!

From frozen to cooked in 10 minutes - that's a miracle!

I've used Certain Dri and Mr. Clean. Love them both. I put Certain Dri for my feet... no more stinky feet!

Definitely the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser...wonderful

Mr Clean, oh yeah!! I bought the ProActive for DS - it worked for him!! they (my 2nd son tried it, worked for him too!) dont use it 100% of the time now, that the majority has gone, but they get into it and it works for them!

I tried the Bare Escentials makeup, but I bought it at the Ulta Store by us - and it does a great job covering up my age spot on my face!

Just my Dawn dish detergent. I use it in my laundry and it's truly a miracle cleaner for my husbands work clothes. :D

I agree with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It really does work!! The Colgate tooth whitener that you paint on your teeth (I can't remember the actual name) works too!

ditto on the magic eraser! (they are coming out with a new one that has a coating on one side that will make it easier to hold as it 'disintegrates')

also the Crest White Strips PREMIUM are the best! totally worth the extra $5!

i would die w/o my swiffer duster. heheheh

LOVE the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Wonderful!

I have also found a product called SPOT SHOT. It's for cleaning spots in your carpet. My Mom's cleaning lady told her about this stuff, and it works wonders. It got dried silly putty out of my Berber carpet! Most stains disappear once you spray it on them. You can find it at WalMart, Target, Kmart, and most grocery stores.

I LOVE ME!! I do "demos" for my friends and family!

I shop a lot at Costco, they have them for about $4 for 8 sponges. The clerk told me they were discontinuing them, hopefully for the new model.

So, if you shop at Costco, put a suggestion in to keep the ME!

HauntedMansionGeek -- do tell about the Dawn Detergent. How do you use it in the laundry? What kind of stains is it good for?

Gotta get that Eraser! I love threads like these because I'm usually very suspicious of new products.

I second the George Foreman grill. I use it all day long! It is so great to cook meats fast and on both sides without turning on the stove!

There was a thread that listed some of these great products recently: Click Here

I started using dish detergent in the laundry years ago after a laundry "professional" suggested it on Martha Stewart's show. She said it works just as efficiently without the residue of laundry detergents and it costs MUCH less! I use any and all dish detergents, whatever's on sale. Just a squirt a load.

I love Oxy Clean!! It gets out grass stains and oily stains too! I love it.

I am doing laundry right now and plan to use dish soap for it and see what happens! That would be a huge money saver if it smells good.

Robinrs...........does it make ALOT of suds? I have this picture of the machine floating in a pool of bubbles. Approx how much to you use? (Some squirts are bigger than others ;) )

You must've tried it in the dishwasher... BIG NO NO! :p been there done that..... :o

No, not a lot of suds at all. The laundry woman on Martha said that the only purpose of soap in cleaning is to break the "skin" on the water that makes stuff float on water. Once the "skin" is broken the water can do it's job by going thru the fibers, therefore cleaning the items as they agitate. One tine squirt is all you need. I use ultra and have never seen lots of suds. And I have an active 11yo boy, which means I wash a LOT of dirty clothes, it works wonders!

So you use it in place of regular laundry detergent?

Cool!

And it works on chocolate? My kids always get chocolate stains and they never want to come out. I use Carbona Stain Devil #2 to remove chocolate. It works well, but you only get a little bit for a lot of $$.
