the Lord of The Dance? It would seem to me that dancing they do would be an awesome workout.:) But I have 2 left feet.:( I'd be in the ER along with the people that were nearest to me when I tried to dance.

My kids try to do the dance.:) I'd love to take them to see the dance live.:)

I've seen it and it's amazing. Kelsea would love to be able to do it. :) Yesterday she claimed to be Irish and was "dancing" around the house. :)

I can't but my 25 yo can. She took lessons in clogging and can do the type of stuff Lord of the Dance does.

I like to watch Irish dance.

But to get me to kick my leg up that high would most likely require a crane.

I love watching Clog dancing but like Shannon, if I ever tried it (and survived) I would be badly injured along with the people near me.

We saw that show in NYC a couple of years ago. I tell ya, DH used to love to rent the video or watch it whenever it was on PBS. I would really, really try and watch it with him but I would always ALWAYS fall asleep during it. So, when we got tickets to see it in Manhattan, I had mixed emotions about seeing it. I was afraid I would start snoring!

I tell you, what a JOY it was to see it live. Of course, Michael Flatery (or however, his last name is spelled) was no longer in it at that time but it was still fantastic and I was spellbound, just spellbound by it.

And as far as me personally dancing like that.... HAH!!!! In my dreams!!!

Our local high school does a talent show called MR. OCHS. It is a boys show like Miss. America but funny. One of the talents featured a big football player being an Irish dancer. He starts dancing when his music is switched to hip-hop. A skinny boy comes out in baggy pants and a basketball jersey doing hip-hop dance. They have a dance-off. Eventually the irish boy converts the hip-hop boy to doing Irish dance. He switches his basketball jersey to a Notre Dame basketball jersey, keeps on his clothes and does the irish dance with the football player.
Sounds wordy but it was funny.
