Two weeks ago I cancelled a package we had booked for March and changed to a room only reservation. We will be coming down for a cheerleading comp and found out we could upgrade the passses we were getting from 4 day hoppers to 7 day hoppers when we get there. I had paid a total of $700.00 on the package reservation using 2 different debit cards...when I called Disney to ask why I hadn't received my refund yet they told me they process refunds within 24 hours and it was my banks problem...called both banks. They tell me they have nothing pending adn if it were processed as quickly as they say it should be back in my account within 10 business days if not sooner.. I might belive this could be the case if it were one bank but I find it hard to believe that BOTH of my bank have a problem processing the refund. I called Disney again and they told me they could check on it because the reservation was cancelled and they could no longer look at it???!!! Has anyone ever had a problem like this and what did you do??? I want my $700.00 back to apply to my other reservation!!!
