I just realized that I'm leaving for WDW in 12 days! I don't know why this surprises me so much. I was thinking about the possibility of visiting my parents before my trip and thought, "Nope, can't do it. The only weekend left is right before my vacation." And then I promptly forgot about it. I tell people that I'm going on vacation "in about two weeks." And then I forget about it. I plan work deadlines around "time away from the office." And then I forget about it. Twelve days doesn't seem real when you've been planning for months.
I'm so not ready to go. I mean, I'm ready to head to the airport, and fly down to Orlando, but I'm not ready to leave my home. My house is a mess, my cat's care is not solid, my job is going to keep me extremely busy right up until the moment I leave. There isn't enough time! Augh! (And why I am checking out the DIS boards when I should be cleaning is beyond me. Oh, that's right. I'm attempting to make the idea that I will be stepping off a plane in Orlando in exactly 12 days a little more real.)
