....chew toys for your dog? We are but we didn't intend on it. Our one year old puppy has decided that our cantalope is growing just for her benefit. When they get to be about softball size she picks them and uses them as a chew toy. Some came up in the back of the garden on their on from last year. Hope that she doesn't find them!

Luckily she hasn't shown any interest in the tomatos.

Our tomatos are doing well. Our son brought in a boat load of them last night.

We grow cherry tomatoes for our dog every year. He loves them. In fact, so much so, that we have to put chicken wire up to keep him out of the garden or he'd eat every last one of them. When they are ripe, all we have to do is ask him if he wants a tomato and he runs to the garden, sits and waits for his "treat".

How cute! The dog next door likes sugar snap peas (I think that is what they are called). She walks down the row eating her fill but she does leave some for her owner.
