A couple of weeks ago I bought a few items from Macy's online. I absolutely love one of the tops. The color is nice, the fit is perfect, and it is totally my style. I went back to the website and the same shirt spoke to me again, but in a different color. Well, after a few days of going back and forth, I decided to buy the SAME shirt, in a different color.

It hasn't arrived yet, so I went online to look at the shirt in the new color I ordered, but now I want the THIRD color option too. It is sooo hard to find tops that I like, but I think buying number 3 would be overkill. Have you ever bought the same shirt in various colors?

All the time.

Not the same shirt, but I have purchased the same shoes in two different colors. I've also purchased the same style pants in two different colors.

I do that sometimes. Hey, if I like it and it fits well, why not? If anyone notices, who cares?

My husband ONLY shops that way. He'll see a shirt he likes, and if it comes in 6 colors, he'll buy one of each. Pajama pants? Okay, I'll take one pair in every print you have in my size, he says. Whatever works...go for it.

Yep. I used to wear big baggy shirts and my store had an awesome sale. I bought 4 of the same shirt style, different colors. I've lost a lot of weight so the shirt now is too big to wear. My daughter uses one as a nightshirt and is swimming in it.

I sometimes buy more than one in the SAME color!

I did that once with a pair of sandals. I also bought them in a different color. So I had 3 pairs of the same shoe, 2 in black and 1 in brown. I wish I would have bought more, because they were the only sandals that I liked (EVER!), and I can't find a similar pair anywhere now.

ETA-I can still wear the brown, but both of the black are on life support.

I do this with shirts, pants, skirts, shoes, etc. It's hard to find shoes w/out 5 inch heels and pants that aren't almost showing my rear end.

Sure, I often buy the same style shirt in different colors. Sometimes I'll buy two or more pairs of pants in the exact same color and style. Once when a shoe store had a Buy One Get One Free promo I got two pairs of the exact same shoes.

Constantly. If I find something I like, I stock up. I detest shopping, so this gives me the added benefit of having to shop less, too! Win-win.

All the time. Shirts, shoes, skirts, pants...

I think it would be weird not to when you find something good quality, fits well, etc. Why not?!

Yep. I hate to shop so if I found a blouse or slacks that fit properly I'll buy them in every color I like just so I don't have to shop again for awhile. :thumbsup2

I just did at Target earlier this week. I was looking for a white shirt to wear under a red work cardi (has the company's logo embroidered on the chest. Found one on clearance - do you know how hard it is to find a plain shirt that isn't see through anymore?!?! It was basic but with a little bit of interest - scoop neck with ruching (I have no idea how to spell that word, but do you know what I mean, it's kind of bunchy but in a flattering way) in the middle of the neckline, near the cleavage area. So I grabbed a white one, and saw they were only $5! So I grabbed a gray one that's the exact shade as my Ash TOMS, and a funky pea yellow/green one that looks awesome under my dark denim fitted blazer. For $5 each, I couldn't really go wrong, kwim???

btw, I bought them on Mon night, and I've already worn 2 of them!

Most of my workout shirts are the same as well. UnderArmor Heat gear... I have black, grey, hot pink, orange... And my shorts are all the same in different colors too, for that matter... guess I'm a creature of habit. And I hate shopping.

I like Coach purses and you can order a particular handbag with different material and/or different colors. I've done that - like one in signature Jacquard fabric and one in all-leather.

I've bought all sorts of shoes in different colors. Casual shirts in different colors. Same with pants. Hey, if they fit well I'm stocking up. I have a hard time finding the fit I prefer. On sale is even better.

I think I was on Oprah once where she said that is like her golden rule if she finds an item of clothing she really likes she gets in in every different color available. Of course she can afford to do that!!!

If I find an inexpensive pair of jeans that fit I usually get them in both the light and the dark. I also have these shirts I ordered from a victoria secret catalog on clearance probably 5 years ago. Like under ten bucks a piece and I still wear them all the time, they go with pants or skirts. I have them in maroon, black, yellow and hot pink.
