I am such a sucker. I watch those commericals and I watch that home shopping network and I fall for those "fantastic, life altering" items that they advertise. I do it all the time. Maybe because inbetween working alot and being a mommy to 3 wonderful kids I don't have alot of time to shop, so I watch the late night tv and shop there. Anyone else out there like me? If so, what have you bought?
I have bought everything from exercise equipment, to bed sheets, to air purifiers, to juicers.

I'm also a mom of 3, and yes I love those things....very dangerous though, pay way too much for the product your getting,(imho) but i have bought the knives ( miracle blade) and love them.....

A few years ago, I bought the "Turbi Towels". I actually like them very much, although they don't cut down the drying time, as the informercial claimed. However, they are the right size and shape for drying semi long hair. I have 4 of them, and they have held up pretty good after years of bleaching and washing.
DH has bought some exercise things, most of which never get used.

A few years ago DH ordered the Red Devil grill. We've never used it  We had just come back from a camping trip and I guess he thought we'd go camping regularly, which we haven't, and that's why we've never used it. We even bought those little tanks of propane, too. It came with a folding picnic table with bench seats. Cost a lot $$, as I recall. LOL Hey, he works hard and makes a good salary, so I don't say a word to him. :p

P.S. I think the grill itself is nice because when we went camping that time his cousin had one and we used it, but it's been a waste since it's just been in it's shipping box for the last 5 years.

Yes! We bought the Foreman Grill, Ab Machine, Oxy Clean, Orange Glo, Revco, Rotisserie, Tan Perfect, Sweet Simplicity, and Quick N Brite and Autofom. Too name a few! LOL! There are a few others that have been out lately that I really want.

Oh yeah and HealthRider!

I bought the Bowflex Ultimate. My family and I workout on it regularly. We lost weight, lowered our blood pressure significantly, and increased our HDL cholesterol( that is your good cholesterol and raising it is good, not bad). Totally satisfied and consider it a great purchase!!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I also have bought the Sobacowa Pillow, the Food Saver Plus, and Trim Spa.

I can't think of the others for now.

I am not going to go through all of them. But I LOVED tan perfect, oxy clean I thought was a waste of money..but I loved orange glo. Sweet Simplicity worked great on my face..but painful on the binkini area. WE loved the Food Saver and the Autofom.

I have not but I REALLY want one of those steamers that look like you will never have to do any cleaning again! Has anyone gotten one of those and did it work?

I have always windered if those worked. Not worth it huh?

I've bought Bare Escentuals make-up, but not from the infomercial; I bought it when it was on special on QVC, and paid a little less than half of what they charge on the infomercials. I use it daily (except on weekends) and really love it. I never wore foundation before, everything I tried felt too heavy. It's a great product, I love it. When it is time to re-buy, I'll probably go the ebay route; lots of sellers there sell it factory packaged (I don't think I'd buy it from someone who'd already opened it and used it; kinda oogs me out to think about it.)

I ordered my first informercial product two weeks ago. I ordered the Slim in Six workout program. Let me tell you, the workouts are awesome. So far I'm very pleased!

My sister just bought us the hard boiled egg peeler. Doesnt work at all.

I usually don't buy from infomercials but............I just bought the scrunci steamer! It's great! I have been cleaning everything in sight! LOL It cleaned my tile grout, my leather sofa, shoes, and more. I just wish it had some wider attachments.

I had recently bought a cd, but have bought other things before from infomercials and also from home shopping channels.

I've never bought anything from them, but i watch infomercials/qvc/home shopping network ALL the time!

tricia.

I've bought quite a few things from QVC and have been watching it for years. Don't get me wrong I don't buy tons on stuff, but when I see something I like, I don't have a problem making a purchase, I think they are very reputable to deal with. And with QVC, I feel you pretty much get what they say. I don't think they over-hype what they sell. On the other hand I do think that they over-hype some products on the Home Shopping Network, and therefore am always a little leary to purchase from them.

Ok, things I've bought.... sheets, featherbeds, Bare Esscentuals makeup, Philosophy Skin Care, my Christmas tree last year, candles, Cooks Essentials cookware, George Foreman grill, various pieces of jewerly.... plus other stuff I can't think of. I've been pretty happy with most of my purchases.
