DH and I are thinking of doing a week at VB next Summer without our kids. We've been many times with kids so its hard for me to imagine just the two of us.

For those who have done this--what do you do when its adults only??

Well, this trip in September will be our first time back since my DH took up SURFING - so I'm guessing that this trip will be quite different :smooth: - but, in the past, we've driven around alot and enjoyed seeing the "east coast."

We've driven down to visit the UDT/Seal museum. We've driven down to Jupiter and admired the incredible homes and visited the lighthouse.

We hit the outlet mall there at 60 and 95, and we catch a few movies.

There's also a good number of antique stores in the area, if that interests you, at all...

We've also visited Mel Fisher's and the McClarty treasure museums.

We've never stayed for more than a few days. It's a great place to relax!

Enjoy your trip!

Sorry I can't help you much...

DH and I were down there for just 2 nights withOUT the kids and did NOTHING!! Boy did I enjoy that! I would love to go down and do nothing again!

We go all the time without kids. We mostly do nothing too. Nothing consists of reading on the beach, napping in the hammock, swimming in the pool, attending a turtle lecture, going on a night time turtle excursion to watch a mother turtle lay and then bury her eggs in the sand, go to the movies, rent movies, sleep late, go out to eat, work out in the weight room, get a massage, taking a walk on the beach...

We follow a rigorous schedule: sleep late; breakfast; go to the beach; walk the beach; read (also known as napping); lunch; more "reading"; more walking; swimming; return to the room and get neat and pretty; dinner; more walking on the beach ... day 2 - repeat day 1. As you can see, it's pretty intense, but we love it

We haven't done VB without the kids - but I dream about that often. I believe our day would be much like scootert's day - but with a massage thrown in there somewhere.

My sister very much enjoyed the yoga class and massage. DH and I like to travel around the area and relax, ride bikes. I love to swim in the ocean.

Bobbi :flower:

My DH love to do absolutely nothing but unwind and forget about the stresses and strains of life and fantasise about how lovely it would be if we did not have to work for a living ---- ah well, back to work now!!!!
