Hi,

I booked my holiday through Virgin back in April last year for April this year. Being our first trip we booked our 10 day WDW park tickets too. Flicking through the current broucher today I saw that the tickets had been reduced by £30.

Phoned them up and it turns out with the change from 10 day tickets to 14 day tickets the price had been ,REDUCED by £71 EACH. They changed the tickets saving me £268.00. Only found out because I phoned to query the drop in prices.

Wasn't intrested in refunding me the reduction they where showing on price for accomodation car Insurance and flights in the current brochure only £294.00 difference!!
Not letting that one go though!!

Worth a phone call if you have booked your tickets with them.

£180 for adults and £150 for children. Not bad just over £10 a day. Probably could have got it cheaper but being a novice went for the safe bet!

How I wish i found this site before I booked!! :badpc:
If i ever manage to go again, listen to me I haven't even been the first time, might not like it! :teeth: .I would definetly do more research before booking sure I can save myself quite a few pounds.

If you had booked with Funway and are staying in a Disney hotel, they are currently quoting £119 for the 14 day tickets. These are adult prices, not sure about the child prices.

We booked our holiday through Virgin too, last November for our trip this November. We did it via Lunn Poly though. We didn't book any park tickets at teh time as we were holding out for the £199 10 day ticket deal. Very pleased to see the new look tickets with Disney and the much reduced prices - I found the cheap prices on the net and then booked them through Lunn Poly who matched the price! Saved us over 400 quid on 9 disney passes and 7 flex tickets.

I too noticed that the car insurance has dropped drastically between the 04 and 05 brochure - £40 a week for an intermediate car - but before I complained I checked my booking breakdown and we'd actually been charged less than the 05 price anyway... v odd - have a look yours might be the same.

By the way any of you booking a holiday I'd say give Lunn Poly a try - they've been fantastic for us - we wanted to cancel one of our hotels and Virgin tried to hit us with a load of charges - the Lunn Poly girl stayed on the phone until they agreed to do it for a basic admin fee. Plus we worked out they've saved us nearly £1200 on our wedding trip in discounts! That's the ceremony paid for...

:cheer2:

congrats on your wedding rosiejo, you're getting married 6 days before we do!! i'll wave on my way past the polynesian!!!
