Have you been to my web site lately?? I need help

I made a mistake and overwrote the MAIN PAGE of my web site, and now it's gone. My DH said that if anyone has been to my web site lately, it should be in their "temporary internet files" folder. I don't have it in mine because I overwrote my temp file when I tried to access the page. If you have clicked on the link below, in my signature, PLEASE DONT CLICK ON IT NOW. Instead, please go and see if you have the old .html file in your temporary internet files. It should look like this:

I wish I could help, but my computer cleans out my temp internet folder once a week.. Google has a cache of your page, it's pretty dated, but it's a place to start. Hope someone else can help more.

Do a Google search on terry527. It looks like your page is the first to come up. Click on the "Cached" link towards the end of the last line of your entry (rather than the main link). This will take you to a cached version of your page which you should then be able to recover.

Thanks for the tip! I did find the older version of my page there, but I was hoping someone would have the newer version, with the links to our Disney Cruise on it. At least the older version is a start, but I was hoping someone might have the new one in their temp internet files. Anyone??

I know I checked out your site last week. I have no idea how to find temporary internet files. If you could walk me through it I would check for you. I could also wait until my dh comes home tonight to check.

I am not really a computer person in terms of the workings, but I think that on mine, that if I Press Ctrl+H that it brings up a History log. From that I can chose to look at today's history, any of this weeks, last week, 2 weeks or 3 weeks ago. I just click on what I want to go back and look at and then click on the link it brings up.

If you're running Internet Explorer, select the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options" In the dialog that comes up, click the "General" tab. In the middle of this form, there should be a section titled "Temporary Internet Files." Click the "Settings..." button in this section. In the next form, click "View Files..." This will pop up an explorer window open to your temporary internet files. There are likely a LOT of files in here. Sort by internet address and scroll down to see if you can find the URL listed above.
