WoodysRU ~ go for the RPC!!! The deluxe concierge rooms are great and you'll only be able to reserve one while your baby is under 3. I still can't quite figure that one out, bigger room = smaller amount of people??? The GF is amazing at Christmas time. Beautiful victorian decorated trees on each floor, garland across the balconies and the orchestra playing holiday music every night as you sip your wine in the lounge. It just doesn't get much better than that.

No oatmeal. I got an email from Andrea saying unfortunately this is true, they will no longer be offering oatmeal, but she'll make sure that they have dairy-free bread available for Meredith and me.

But really, it's only 2 days, and one of those, we have breakfast at Tusker House anyway, so I'm being silly. I imagine Meredith might have cereal possibilities with rice milk there anyway, which is what most of the week will be about.

Woody, I have no idea which resort you should pick, but I would bet that either will be wonderful. For myself, I've just never found CR visually appealing, it looks so clunky. The GF is....grand! But the CR has the awesome views, and the monorail thing is cool.

NO MORE DAYSHIFT!!! (for a week!) All done my four days! Woohoo! And at the very end of them, last night on the way out, I called hauled into my supervisor's office and....(gasp!) PRAISED up and down for a good fifteen minutes for the work I've been doing lately and in particular for something I figured out yesterday afternoon and shared. It was something small, I thought, but pleasing, something I'm sure someone else could have done but they hadn't yet, and it was a handy little piece in a jigsaw puzzle we're working on solving at our department right now. For some reason, they got all excited about it, and my supervisor was passing it along. So, yay! That was a really upbeat way to end a really stressful and long week.

Good Day Everyone,
It has been a crazy week in the ER also. The full Moon plays havic on certain individuals and the ones that take care of them!

I am bummed about the oatmeal issue. I live on it since I have been on WW. I might have to bring it from home!

I made ressies at SOG for the end of July. I am waiting to see if I can get a cheaper rate at another hotel. I am also waiting to see when you all decide to meet this summer. My DS wants to see the Bucs in training camp if they are at DW again this summer. It seems that we plan a trip every 2 yrs. Since I have found you all I see that one trip is not enough every 2 yrs!!!!! My DH said he did not want to go again this summer, I said fine see ya when we get back. We will see if he decides to go after our trip next month.

I'm off to DS football game.

Good almost afternoon everyone! I have one of those late autumn early winter colds so am spending today in bed with hot tea, heating pad and the vaporizer....but I did get up, very early, to make a pot of beef noodle soup....so there's a nice crockpot on the buffet...along with some freshly baked crispy rolls and butter...enjoy!

Welcome to my world Most of our WDW trips, I just take DD. DH is so wonderful to "let" us go whenever I ask ~ and in great style no less Go for it!!

Debbie BACK TO YOU!! If I were you - having had so many marvelous trips already this year, I would definitely downgrade the reservation to help dramatically cut the costs. During the holidays, with so many fabulous decorations to enjoy inside and with it getting darker so much earlier, why not trim the accomodations budget and go standard - or pool. You'll still be at AKL! Maybe Santa will make sure you get a Savanna view upgrade especially for the Holidays That would just be "gravy" I would rather go that way and feel good about it than force the issue w/ Concierge or Savanna. (Can you tell I just want you to GET THERE!!?? )

If you do decide to go to AKl with the savannah view, just drop a note to the CM's at concierge letting them know of your arrival at AKL. You've been there frequently, they would probably throw some pixie dust your way with an upgrade if they knew you were coming and they had the rooms open.

You probably already thought of that.

I have thought of that, but I am so afraid to actually do it! Funny thing is, I do want to bring them some more Mackinac Island fudge, no strings attached, just because they loved it so much! I tried calling DH but he is out of cell range, or his phone is off *darn deer hate the ringing I guess...LOL* He knows I am worried about him and the bear family hanging around his area, so hopefully he'll call tonight when he's back at the cabin.

Debbie--I knew I liked you for a reason--GO SPARTIES!! We're a house divided here--Husband = Spartans, Son = Wolverines, Daughter = She's a cheerleader and could care less as long as she looks good , and I'm a Buckeye! Needless to say, my husband and I root for any team playing those Blue/Gold Bandits! Too bad Stanton was injured--he was doing some great work on the field--just hoping the Spartans can persevere!

Everyone I have talked to today in Michigan said it is very windy.

I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to let them know you are coming. You are a frequent guest and it sure couldn't hurt. If they have the rooms, why let them go empty.

20-10! STATE!!!! I graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, but I was born at Sparrow Hospital! My parents went to state, although my dad also went to UofM (which is why I was brainwashed at an early age to go for the BEST school!). I have always been a die-hard state fan, even the years we buy the season tickets for Michigan from his father! I do think more families than not are "mixed" families. I know my father's new wife is a wolverine to his spartan heritage, and they tend to decorate each others vehicles and leave them in conspicuous places.

Truth be told, DH's father's masters is from Ohio State. We try not to think about that... Sorry tess, but 38 years here makes me a buckeye hater, but I still like you! I love the line about your daughter! That about sums up my DD, too! DS and I have been watching the game from different corners of the family room. We're on opposite sides for this game!

My Stepson got All-State!! He made the All-State team for golf!

The results just came out, he's in!!! I'm almost in tears, I'm so proud of him!!!


He's only 16, but he's in his senior year, he skipped way back in grade 5....

This HAS to help for a scholarship, don't you think? OMG, I'm so excited, DH just phoned me. I'm going crazy trying to find the results online, but they aren't out yet, he got the phone call...

I AM SO PROUD I COULD BURST!!!!
