Hey GoofyJoofy you can keep my DH company - I plan to treat him to a weekend at the Poly after the Lizard Meet, but he'd be happy to come down early and help represent the manly side of our thread! Maybe the "boys" could have their own meet and raid the "girls" camp one night!

Well, I won't be visiting WDW this fall as I had hoped - my knee doc says "No Way." His actual words were, "Are you insane? Do you really not want to walk normally again, or at all?"

In stead I am all set up for some really painful npn-steroidal shots over the next 6 months to try and give me mobility. Basically it feels like everytime I walk like that Alien (from Aliens) is trying to burst out of my kneecap and spread my blood and my guts and cause general mayhem all around. Not a fun feeling.

Thank you all for your advice to return and use the postcard but it is not to be. Instead, I am working strenuously to save my strength for the May LL Meet.

I AM DEFINITELY IN FOR THAT .

So, for now, I will have to live vicariously thru you all and your fabulous trip reports - to get my Disney fix!

Yes BT, you and I will watch on the sidelines while everyone else "plays" but LOOKOUT in May - because we Southern woman know how to PARTY !

As you have already demonstrated the fine art of sniffing questionable substances BT, we country girls also know how to set the World on its ears! And we do it with "such" gentility and grace.......

As for the mental state of the Lizard Lounge, you are correct - damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead...with plans.

Thanks for reminding me (on the trip reports thread) about the CM appreciation cards, BT. I'll post one later when my brain is running at full power. I can't take credit for the idea, though - I just modified something from the Tagrel website and added a twist. We do get a really good response to them, though. It saddens us to see how underappreciated the CMs can be, so this has become our "quickie" way of giving back a little magic.

Pineapple Danish, Kona coffee and plenty of fresh fruit on the sideboard - enjoy!

What dates? I'm plotting a weekend escape-take just Friday off from work-fly down Thursay 5/12 return Sunday 5/15-is that too early? Would I miss everyone? Would you still be around the next weekend? I really can't go midweek and leave DH to get kids ready for school..... I did check air fares-could get RT for just $156 less my $94 credit would be just $62-how can I resist that?

mmausse I guess you have to listen to the doctor! That just means you will be in super shape for our meet in May! I am so excited to meet you after having our phone conversations.

BT It will be a dream come true for me to stay in one of the suites at the BWI, though I am hoping one is avaiable for our oct. trip. No luck yet but will keep trying. I think I deserve it!!!! I can't think of a better place to have our princess pj party!!!

My friend Nancy has agreed to come along! It will be our annual girls trip, extended! We will be there in March also.

Well, my bag is packed for my mini vacation courtesy of Morton Hospital. I have my great magazines lovesdumbo sent me and a few trashy novels. I will leave my knitting at home for this trip.

Talked to Jackie last night and she and Scott are still without power at their hoses. I gues a couple of the Inkeeper's cast will need to do some major construction on their homes. I am just glad they are all safe and will be there in Oct. they are all so very wonderful.

BT - Just noticed your signature. 26th Adventure, Summer Lizard meet at AKL.

My DW and I have already begun talking about next years Disney vacation. We were thinking of taking a longer vacation and doing some resort hoping. And of course a few days of AKL CL with either the Sunrise or Sunset (or both ) safaris was in the plan.

So is this just fanciful thinking, or are plans already in the works?

I hope hockeymom is up for this.

OK so if I do 3 nights Fri/Sat/Sun that would give me 2 days with the Lizards! I'll be working on it!
