Kona Cafe Fans,
I remember once many moons ago we went to Kona Cafe for breakfast and I had the Tonga Toast and they offered a very different kind of syrup, I think it was passion fruit and they had it bottled for purchase. Do they still have that? It was so delicious, would love to try it again.

I am heart broken to hear the sad, tragic news that k&a&c'smom and her family have suffered. I am at a loss for words but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you and your family the strength to make it through this terrible time.

A BIG WAVE
to all my beloved "Lounge Lizard" amigos! 
DD & I went to the movies yesterday, and saw TWO new releases!~We had free VIP passes for the first one,(*Grocery store promo) and matinee prices for the second. It was a blast. We saw "The Stepford wives & The Terminal." Both were very entertaining. It was a wonderful summer afternoon.
Called yesterday am to make ressies for KEY WEST. You would all think I'm completely bonkers if you knew the amount of greenbacks they want for a room in this place...let alone a suite/villa! It's a KING'S RANSOME! But, we WORK Hard, to PLAY HARDER!!! It's not bad, considering location and amenities. We've paid more for suites, and the Hilton resort room is comparable to Disney's Vero Beach Villa. But..we only go 'round once.
Might as well reach for the brass rings, and pull a few off for folly!
I've made more than one ressie...and we are going to "decide" on exactly where to stay prior to arriving. We made a ressie at the Hilton's private island escape...(www.sunsetkeycottages.hilton.com): We have a two-story cottage, with three bedrooms/three baths...(That's all they had left...)
Just ten minutes from the mainland!
I also made a tentative ressie at the Little Palm island resort and spa (www.littlepalmisland.com), which is a stunning place....(Children must be over 16)...on Torch Key:
We have a bungalow suite (King w/rollaway) reserved. It's so private here...like being in Bora Bora.
I also reserved two eves in the Hilton Key West Resort & Marina located at the Dock for the Disney Cruise ship!! I reserved a suite with a corner ocean view...very exclusive. We love this resort...and wanted to stay here last summer, but there was no availability. It looks very nice, and is rated well. It's the Least expensive accomodations of the three. I will possibly split the stay ending at this resort (scale-back the other locales by 2-days). (www.keywestresort.hilton.com), It's such a beautiful location, etc.

I just returned from the hospital and I read about Alice's family tragedy. I am praying for your family Alice to help all of you through this time. It is so very hard to find the right words to say at atime like this , just know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Boy I am gone a day and a half and there is so much to catch up on. My husband has set the laptop up in my room for me so I am not too bored. They wanted me to stay longer, but there is nothing like your own bed.
Had an e-mail from Alana at the planning office. She will be doing my princess PS at Norway for Madyson. I am so excited now. It is so nice to have a trip to look forward to.
I am dreaming about the delicious chocolate croissants at breakfast!!!!
I asked Alana about have Cinderella's slipper for my son's MIL when we go to tea. It is her birthday and has never been to WDW.
Everyone have a great evening and have a dessert for me, strick diet right now!!!

I have heard from Alice, and I would like to relay that she thanks everyone for their support and prayers. I know she read her pm's yesterday, but don't know how often she will be doing that. Glad to be of service, Debbie!!! I can hardly wait to arrive...in FLA, and "begin the adventure" (sounds like the host from the RAINFOREST Cafe!!). I must concur our journies have progressively become more exciting, and amazing with each passing year. We saw the details of Little palm island/Torch Key featured a while back on the travel channel (#1 Exclusive tropical destination). DH said he would love to travel there...and the rest, is history!
I'll be sure to report all the details, and let you know if it's everything it's touted to be! Thanks again, for your kind words, and offer to forward messages to Alice. I'll pm you later regarding this matter. You are a sweet and caring person, and one of my FAV DISers...

and very excited about my new favorite concierge lounge!!!
ALOT of firsts for this trip.....had some glitches in our Poly CL check-in.....but our rooms were FANTASTIC! #3506-7. just breathtaking!
But, along the lines of the check-in "Glitches".....we ended up meeting with Claudia, one of the CL managers (wonderful and beautiful lady!) and the Poly's manager, Mark.
Are you ready for this....?
We stayed in the PRINCESS SUITES in the Tonga Building!
What a treat and I can NOT wait to get these pics up and posted!
The difference was night and day.....
Tess....looked for you at the lounge, but never saw you!
Next story....our GRAND ONE was cancelled due to an engine malfunction....I was so upset, but Mark, from the Poly stepped up to the plate and arranged a special DESSERT party at the MAGIC KINGDOM on the TOP LEVEL OF THE WDW RAILROAD STATION!!!!
Talk about the VIP of all VIP parties!
Mark got permission from the MK's president and had the middle of the top level roped off for us....beautiful tables and chairs with all these fabulous desserts catered by the Grand Floridian.
Plus, we had five servers, including Mark himself!
Vagal.....and her family were just as suprised as we were and we all had a very MAGICAL time watching the Spectromagic parade and WISHES !
It was so nice to meet VAgal (Bonnie) and her sweet husband, Chris and DS, Nathan.
Just watching the kids' faces light up when they saw all of this was just PRICELESS!!!!!
Second move.....the AKL 2 bedrrom suite....what else can I say that I haven't already about this place.....it is still AWESOME!
We had the suite on the Zebra Trail overlooking the Uzima savannah and pool area, #5481.
Like I said before...the pictures will speak for this fabulous suite.
The Wanyama safari was another hit for Bonnie's family as well as mine! And just to add, this safari has a new twist to it now....
Jiko's was wonderful as Chef Annette and Chef Dennis both hosted our dinner.....Bonnie can tell you all how excited I was when they walked up to our table!
My father was so touched by his father's day "presents"...mom said that she saw a tear when we where at Narcoosee's and I made the announcement that we were going to a special dessert party and when I told them the next morning to get packed up, that we were moving to the AKL....he just stood there in disbelief!
Imagine the look when we walked into our suite!
Kenny, Jack, Tara, Juanita....and of course, Andrea (and our sweet Sue) made this such a precious gift for my family!
Had Andrea send Sue flowers the day after her surgery and she called me when she received them!
Really made me happy to give her a little something in return for all the magical pixie dust she and Andrea sprinkled on this stay!
Alright....next resort....took the parents/niece to the airport and stayed another night in our suite at AKL. Told DH that I was too tired to move to another resort and we should just stay at AKL and try the BWI CL next trip.
Boy! Am I ever so glad he changed my mind!
No way! We're trying a new place! You booked it, we're going! LOL! This is coming from hubby who used to make fun of my WDW obsession! 
Now....I know what all the fuss is about....BWI CL's is absolutely the most elegant, intimate and hospitable concierge on property.
Robin, Jackie, Scott, Joseph, and Chris....just wonderful!
The garden suite was gorgeous...there are two floor plans.
Different than the other pics I've seen....we had the enclosed bedroom with the HUGE balcony!
Just loved every little touch at this place....the room, the decor, the food, the castmembers....simply wonderful.
Kerry... to you! Jackie told me about your surgery and I want you to know that I've been thru what you're going thru....

Welcome home BT!! Your trip sounds fabulous, we missed you!! I am anxious to hear what you thought of BWI, my kids were mesmerized by BC, but DH was interested in the BWI. They are all total lounge lizards after their trip to Poly Concierge, there is no going back now.

I am also thrilled that you enjoyed the BWI concierge. I love telling people all about it, but it is beginning to get very popular now!!!!!!
Jackie called me to see how I was. She is such a good person. Now at least someone realizes why I go back there every year.
So many of my friends think I should try other resorts, well I have and I just couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.
How exciting to have such VIP treatment!
