This was one long thread to read.

I've taken the plunge and booked our first stay in concierge for
next year at the Contemp's 14th floor. Was lucky to get all 3 rooms for all the family going with us. ( iknow what you are going to say, i'll never stay without CL it again)
I loved your pics Bambi and its funny because we are splitting the stay between the CR and the BeachClub CL; so i loved seeing those pics too.

And we will be going in august like you so im already dreaming of the Presidential upgrade lol and the fact that this is all a surprise for my wife for our 10th anniversary makes it one amazing trip.

Peter1706 Welcome to the Lounge! So where in Jersey do you hail from? There are a number of former and current Jerseyians here, so you should feel right at home.

BT - it was great to talk with you too. Don't work too hard, we need all those brain cells working appropriately for the May Meet. I told my parents that I'd be meeting you all and, as my family doesn't understand my Disney addiction, I had to listen to "Not Again. You were just there. " And my favorite comment, "What else is there to see. You've done it all. Why don't you go someplace nice." ARRGH! Sorry, just needed to vent.

We just returned from Hard rock Hotels club level. and had a great time. ( post hurricane Charlie)
I wanted to let you all know. Of a great new bussiness that is starting. There is a woman on these boards who is making gift baskets to order. She did 2 for me. and honestly they were better than Gifts of a lifetime or The Disney Florist. She did one Disney Princess that was delivered to my Aunt at POFQ. and one to my boys at the Hard Rock. It was a combination of Disney toys, pez, and candys as well as things like chocolate and lollipops arranged as a floral arrangements. I would recommend her without reservation. If anyone is interested I will PM her screen name to you!

Hey guys its me Mad4Mickey the lurker
I know I asked if anyone knew if they had the small bottles of water to take to the parks on the concierge level at the WL.
Our IPO girl told me that they did and a friend who is a Disney Vacation planner said she thought they did .

We got a Email today saying they were sorry for telling us wrong the 1st time but that WL would not be offering the small waters anymore . All concierge will not be offering it , if they are now they wont be soon

Thought I would just update since this is the "happening" thread for Concierge info .

Now back to my lurking

I can't believe they don't give water bottles anymore, Geeze, now I am going to have to stop at the store and buy some, whats with that, I think I am paying enough for the room. Oh well I still am so spoiled, I feel the need I have to stay concierge. I have stayed concierge before but always did my own PS but this yr I sent them email on all the places and days and times I wanted and they did it, now that is a perk that I like now. It is getting so close, I'm getting real excited. Does andyone know if at night they have beer at BWI C?

GAIL T I asked this about the WL and they said yes . They offer beer at all the Concierge but that it was not out chilled like the wine . It is kept up and you only have to ask for it . My DH only drinks Bud Light and was very happy that is one of the beers offered . I would send a Email to your IPO person and ask abotu your brand .

I was a little upset about the water also . I like that because I dont drink any kind of Soda . Now I have to go to the store and buy a case when I get in town . Part of the reason I stay Concierge is so I dont have to make a grocery stop .

I just ordered "Zebra Strawberries" as an arrival treat for our room. Have you tried these? and if so, are they as tasty as they sound?

I wanted to have something special to greet my husband and boys when we arrive, and thought these strawberries sounded delicious and cute. Plus, strawberries are fruit, so they are healthy, right?

I have a question and hopefully some of you awsome CL folks can help me out:
We booked a Woods View at the WL for just my DH and myself. My husband then invited my 20 year old niece. (hooray! First time to WDW) We added her and tried to upgrade to the Deluxe room. No suck luck because of our discount code we used. So yesterday I called and got another friendly friendly CM that says that she can get me in the Deluxe room on the Conceirge level AND use my discount code. WOO HOO!!!! All is good to me. I take it. She didn't even have to refund it all out she was just able to adjust our resi.

Now my DH is pacing the floor because he doesn't see anywhere on line that they list the Deluxe rooms on the CL. Anyone know if they do have the Deluxe rooms on the CL? I really want to have the seperated private area for my niece and heck for us too. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Otherwise it's back on the phones again to res.

Think of a chocolate strawberry with zebra-like stripes and you have a zebra strawberry! Of course they are healthy; don't fruits count before chocolate on the calorie scale?

I believe all concierge lounges offer beer during the evening appetizer/wine time. It is not out, so you need to ask for it. They will be more than happy to bring you a beer, or anything else that is not currently out.

There is always water available in the concierge lounges, just not in "take to the parks/room" bottles. Depending on which lounge you are in, there are also specialty juices and/or smoothies which are also non carbonated.

A big wave to all of the lizards, the new lizards, and our many lurkers!

Yum! Zebra strawberries sound FANTASTIC! akghutton, if you don't mind my asking, how much are they going to charge you for that. My DH would love those, so I will have to look into it.
