We're back from our first stay at Poly CL. Have we been "bitten" by the "bug"? YOU BETCHA! The resort was beautiful, the staff was great and the lounge was so nice-especially at night watching Wishes. We talked to Chef Dick a few times and complimented him on the food he prepared...it was delicious! I tried sushi for the first time last week and was totally surprised that I LOVED the stuff. I just can't say enough good things about the place...especially CL! It was THE BEST!! DH LOVED it and said I don't know how many times that he was addicted to it and wouldn't ever stay any other way but concierge. YAAHHH!!! Sadly, our next trip won't be until October 2005 (16 more months to plan ) but there is NO way we'll stay any other way but CL!

Woody....I HOPE and PRAY that you get nothing but good news in a few more days. I'm sure everything will work out for the best. Keep me posted, ok?

I will try to write more later. Have plenty of dirty laundry to do now but wanted to let you all know that we had the best vacation EVER!!!

I'm so glad you had an awesome time and was officially "bitten" by the concierge bug - LOL! DH & I both love sushi. I'm glad you tried it and liked it. Can't wait to hear more details on your trip.

I wonder how Sojo and Goodferry are doing? I'm sure they're having a grand ol' time though .

So glad you're back and had a lovely time! I can't wait to hear all of the details about Poly CL and your time you had there! Two more weeks and I am sure I'll be in vacation preparation overload! Just too much to think about and do right now around here!

Throw a load of laundry in over here; we're done for the day and you'll finish quicker with help!

Debbie, I might have to take you up on the laundry offer. I have a ton piling up since I've been at work for most part of the weekend. I know, work...."yuck" again - LOL! However, I did manage to take my boys to see Shrek 2 last night just to take a breather from this place. It was much needed time out & the movie was great!

disneyholic family - definitely let IPO handle your PS's and other requests. We noticed that we got seated within 2-3 minutes with our CL PS's, and always got a great table!

KerryCM - Thanks, and I'll be sure to tell everyone "Hey" from you!! We can't wait!

ARF - I would go ahead and contact IPO if I were you - sometimes they don't get your info from CRO right away. You can email, and they will email you an itinerary form, or you can call. I don't know exactly how far in advance they send the "packet" in the mail, as I haven't ever booked very far in advance. For example, our Poly trip at Easter, we received the packet about 6 weeks out, but I had only booked a few weeks prior. This trip, I contacted IPO, and have never received a packet from BWI. WL sent a letter to me a couple weeks after I booked. HTH!

Edited to add: BWI IPO has contacted me by email, I just meant to say they never have sent anything through regular mail. I think it was a moot point after I contacted them.

Debbie - Hope your end of year duties aren't overwhelming you!! Thanks for the snacks, it hit the spot!

Anyone have any reviews of GF Lodge Concierge they would like to share? We are planning a trip late Sept. and have only done Poly CL! We were planning on AKL CL, but dh decided he wanted to stay at a monorail resort ( going to MNSSHP)! So, I decided to switch to GF! We have stayed GF several times, but we usually get a lodge tower room. Also, does anyone know if lodge tower rooms are available in Sugar Loaf? They said "no" when I made the ressie??? I would also like to know about times and snacks offered?? Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to catch up on the last couple days of posts. I will do so as soon as circumstances allow...

Because so many of you have been so supportive and curious about my situation, I wanted to jot down a quick note.

After putting my 1 and 2yr. olds to bed last night, I developed some severe back pain. I have some sad news to report. As soon as I began to reach for the Tylenol, I began the process of miscarrying our pregnancy. We'd made it this far (almost til Monday's appt.), and I was already getting a big stomach (3 pregnancies in a row). That along with the fact that my morn. sickness was SO strong, I thought we were going to be okay. I guess it wasn't in the "plan" for us. Needless to say, we are very sad. It's been a rough 24 hrs.

I will check back in as I am able. I just wanted to let all of you know who have been praying for us. Thanks for all of your kindness. It's meant so much.

Hey Everyone - I'm still here. Just had a very busy weekend! Last minute decided to take the kids to Harry Potter 3 Friday night. ALL of us LOVED it, and want to see it again. Saw Shrek 2 last weekend and we all want to go back and it again too!.

Northampton (the town next to us) celebrated their 350th year. My daughter had to march in the parade today with the school band.

And of course I would be remiss if I did not mention my son's baseball game on Saturday.

SteveandDonna - So sorry to hear the news. My prayers and PD go out to you and your family. Sounds like a really tough time for all.

Woody - Still got you in my prayer and PD list. Hang in there, and remember we are all here for you...

LuckyWife - Welcome back! Glad you enjoyed the CL so much and husband is in agreement.

I contacted IPO and found out that they knew about my ressies, but did not have my contact info. We have been working with them planning all our PS and special treats. So ARF and disneyholic family - don't wait. Contact IPO by phone or email or both if need be. Sometimes paperwork (whether its electronic or not) gets lost or routed incorrectly.

I have been working with Alana and Lauren, they have both been wonderful. The BWI shares an IPO with BC & YC.

Dreamflight - yes that PBH suite looks devine. Now I want to go to the land of my ancesters and see the original!!!

Woody - I see you posted while I was writing this.

Steffy - that Fireworks cruise on the Breathless sounds like a really wonderful wedding gift.
