I've been there....last time was at WDW 2 years ago-6 months pregnant with baby #3 in 3 1/2 years. Walking up & down those monorail ramps was really tough! Will be fun to be there at exactly the same time again with baby in arms well actually I think I'll be chasing her up & down those ramps!

Love the latest themes in here -- especially the "black sheep" thing! Glad to see how many truly creative folks we have who are willing to share ideas on how to maximize value for their vacation time. One size does not fit all!

And speaking of one size... kudos to all you fellow WWs! Dumbo, what a fab total and even better incentive system! I passed my 1 yr maintenance anniversary this past July (had FINALLY been success in whittling away the 30 lbs that those 3 kids in 3 1/2 years had led to... well, they didn't cause it exactly, but you know what I mean...) I'm finding that the virtual "points" in the lounge here are probably a better alternative than those other ones that call all too often!

Gotta run... I'm thinking the statute of limitations on my still unfinished trip report is just about running out, but maybe this weekend? No, I didn't think so...

PLUS, the S/D are booked for two of the nights we wanted.

You know, this is WHY I booked this suite 8mos in advance!
So we'll have a place to sleep!

think I'll give them another call and email.
Poor Melissa! she's right in the middle of this fiasco!
Don't worry...I'm very sweet to her! Not her fault at all!
She's one of the brightest stars at the Poly's IPO.

We really want to stay there and give it another try, too.
Just seems not to be happening for us.

<font size=3>No rooms at SugarLoaf available for Oct.23!</font> Oh brother this is annoying. Well if I don't get it, I guess I will live. I don't mind the lagoon room, I just don't want to change my rooms 3 times during our stay. I will pack strategically though. I'm going to keep on trying. Now if I could just wire my jaw shut until we leave, I'll be good I'm stress eating.

samnbilly I know how you feel. I am on the phone at least 4-5 times a day trying to get a suite at the BW for my trip. I really want to surprise my husband with it. The is one available for 2 nights in the middle of my trip and I don't want to have to switch rroms. My other problem is I really want a BW view this trip and there are only a couple suites with the view!!!! I am driving myself over this whole thing.
My husband has been so good through all of my latest medical adventures I want to make this a special trip for him.
Oh well, I will just keep trying!

Sorry I haven't been in the lounge much the last couple of days--it's been pretty crazy at work. I'm trying to get us ready for this HUGE trade show that's about 2 weeks away in Las Vegas. It's just a ton of work!

Hi everyone! I have been with all your posts the past two days.

This is certainly a fun group.

Samnbilly I'll be down there at that time too. Maybe you'll see me. I'll be the gorgeous 6fl svelte blond-oh, wait a minute-that's not me. I'm only 5/5 with brown hair (has some fake blonde in it) and I'm not svelte-just average size.

I almost choked on my lunch.

Just imagine if we all were looking for each other with our wish list of images. I'd be 5'10 with long blond hair, great legs and a body that could make any man cry. Reality is I'm 5'5, redish blond, short hair and a good irish housewife body. HEY. maybe we turn into our dream image when we are in the world!


Just got off the phone with Don at ALK CL, the weather is sunny and 90 degrees and humid. I was requesting a room assignment of a King bed, Arusha Savannah. He said he would make a note, however it is a holiday week end and they are very full. So we will see what happens. Throw some pd my way. My DH is 6'4", 260 pounds and I will be sleeping either on the floor or alone in the other bed. if we can't get it.

Really any bed in CL at AKL will be wonderful! I am so very excited.

BT- My vote is that Debbie will get a room at ALK.

Guess I'm a confused EWE too. We're staying at Pop for 1 night, ALK CL for 6 nights, then over to Shades of Green for a week. Maybe a ewe in fatiques.

samnbilly - great idea! If you're looking for me, I'll be the short, fat lady with short brown hair and a really cute DD(15) with great auburn hair!! *sigh* That, unfortunately, really is me!! Oh, and belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EWE!!!

WoodysRU - Boy, can I relate!! That DD I refer to was my third, and she was the most uncomfortable to carry!! I couldn't sit, lie down, ride in a car, it felt like she was right up under my chin! Turned out, she was 22" long when she was born, I guess she needed to stretch out a little. The 2 DS's and DD are all exactly 2 years apart, the boys' b'days are Aug. 12 & 13, DD's is July 27. Much party-planning goes on during the summer months around here!

It is October 1st, I am booked at POP for four glorious days to end my annual pass with a fifth and final trip....

Shalida I scrolled through the other thread too. I'm going to the Poly, my dream resort, for the first time this year. I set my expectations very low, so I'm usually pretty easy to please. So long as I wake up, there is coffee in the lonuge and I can see the Castle, my day will start off nice. So far Poly IPO has made every ps I asked for, set up my DGD birthday party at Chef Mickey's, got my Christmas dinner at 1900 Park Fare... I'm a happy camper. I really shouldn't have worried my self to pieces anyway; I was having a very untypical panic attack. They have noted on my reservation all of our allergies... that's all I could ask for. This is my first time conceirge. I'm just going to stand rooted at the curb until the golf cart comes. And I WILL get leied!!!

OK......I've got the GF RPC deluxe and regular rooms booked, but today I was able to get the Presidential Suite with a connecting bedroom at the Wilderness Lodge for the same dates in December.
Same price.

samnbilly--thanks for the pixie dust! I am feeling better today. My DH & DD just took me out for my birthday dinner-went to my favorite Applebees. Tomorrow night DH & I get the evening to ourselves-gram & gramps are taking DD so we can go out..think we'll hit Red Lobster this time!! (after the deer hunting at 5:5 in the morning, of course!) Also, I got a very special present from DD--a WDW 05 calendar!!! Of course, I knew I was getting it because I ordered it but DD didn't know that and she was so excited to give it to me!!! Now I can start a countdown on the calendar!
