Hello fellow Lizards! I know I have been gone lo these past days and I do mean to correct that. Shame on me for neglecting my "other" family & friends.

Work and family activities have made life hectic
Just the usual back to school and activities getting into a routine sort of stuff.

Woody - So good to see you around again. Glad to hear things have gotten a little better. Hang in there.

We all know you are one of us.

We planned our quickie trip for Dec. and even though we are going Deluxe resort, we skipped Concierge. Then we kept adding days! There are a few reasons I wish we had CL, but since we booked through Dreams Unlimited, we have some services. They got us all our PS and booked our MVMCP and CP tickets. Not the same but still pampered.

BT - Sorry to hear you were sick. Hope you are feeling better.

KerryCM - P & PD for a quick recovery so you can enjoy the BWI and the World! It will be nice for you and DH to be "home" again . Say Hello to Alana and the other IPO staff for us.

Just need to nail down the dates for one summer event, then we can begin planning our summer at WDW!

Welcome to all the new posters! We love hearing about everyones plans. Gets us all the more excited about our own.

And yes, most other people just don't understand.

I don't have anything new to add, other than I'm joining my "twin" #1hockeymom in defecting to cheaper accommodations! DD and I are headed back to WDW the end of Oct., staying at POR. No CL for us this trip, boohoo!! But, we get to squeeze in an extra trip during the F & W Fest and Halloween!! Yippee!

Big room wave to all and I'll grab a cookie as I leave the lounge!

I'm so extremely jealous of everyone going to the world in the matter of weeks. Oh, how I wish it were me!

Like Debbie says though - bills? I have bills? Yuck, yuck, yuck!

If I don't get to go to the May meet, I secretly hope the summer meet will be in June while I'm there so I can meet some of you folks. I have even a darker secret than that...I wish I could go to both meets so I can meet you all and get an extra trip in! Not wanting too much am I? The trip is even sweeter when you can share it with others.

Okay, okay - I have to wrap up work here. I slip on and off whenever I can, but it's almost time to go. I'll try to be back for the evening desserts/wine/cordials. I've been missing out on those lately!

I have to share a story with all of you ...when I was meeting BT and AteveandDonna at Ohana's for dinner (the mini LL meet this summer), one of the teenage girls traveling with us kept saying the same thing about meeting total strangers. She asked me who she should call to take my son should I not return, what my next of kin's phone number was, and don't you know you should never talk to strangers on the internet! I guess I should have been concerned about BT and Steveanddonna !

Anyway..it cracked me up ...she didn't understand that these were not stangers...

Not to worry all you black sheep--I'm one too! I've stayed at Pop and ASMusic (twice) and had a blast both times! CL is definitely the way to go when it fits in the budget, but when it doesn't, any WDW resort is fantastic.

GF IPO has gotten all of my requests and are really on top of making this next trip a grand one! Just not the same "warm fuzzies" as the Epcot and AKL IPOs though!

hmmmm.....we've got beef tips and noodles, honey bar-b-que wings and ribs, skewered salmon, veggies, dips, crackers, sodas, tea, and coffee on the sideboard.

Can't you just see the news headlines-BambiTamby and cajunfan are wanted in the disappearance of samnbilly and VaGal. Apparently they were corresponding on the DISBoards website about the happiest place on earth when the disappearance occurred. Goofy and Pluto were a witness to the alleged incident. Stay tuned to the Disney Channel for more information Apparently they couldn't get information from the other Lounge Lizards because they had too many after dinner cordials and snacks to speak.

KerryCM--don't know if you saw my last post-wanted to add one ?? What have you given the concierge cms in the past as gifts since they can't accept cash? Do the BW cms enjoy anything particular??

BambiTamby--I will keep my fingers crossed that yoou go next December. It would be neat to meet someone off these boards. We can't go for the spring Lizard meet--turkey hunting season you know!! Heaven forbid we miss that!

VAGal--Oh yes!!! I finally have another that understands. Bow season starts Saturday here in Iowa. We are going out for my birthday Sat evening but you have to get the hunting in first!! Just to give you an idea, my DH is getting 5 deer tags this year. I guess I can't fault him being obsesed with hunting since I am either on these boards or have my nose in a WDW book pretty much most of the time. I wourk for a State Farm agent and he is wanting me to take the Series 6 & 63 tests for my securities licenses but I can't seem to make myself study!! Not to mention our 6 yr old DD is doing her nightly reading out of the Birnbaum's 2005 for Kids!!!

Very well said Elizabeth That is a great attitude to have about the whole CL thing.

Bambi... you outdid yourself with the humor and food selections tonight....just what a pregnant girl (with two toddlers) needs!!! Thanks for the reply about the 50th celebration. Crowd-wise, do you think we'd be better off the last week in April vs. that first week in May??? (BTW, I'd LOVE to make the lizard meet but cannot for 2 reasons...1) Our AP's expire May 8 and... 2) After postponing our family trip 8 months, I can't go without them!!! I'm so bummed I'll miss all you guys though!!!

sfbank - I think we must be related somehow. Now, let's review that family tree . There are just too many similarities between the two of us!

Woodysroundup - I'm sure there will be more lizard meetings. Maybe you can go to one after having the baby and then we can all meet the bundle of joy that we've been praying for.
