Have to wait till Oct 2010

We just got back last friday and to cure the disney blues we were going to book to go back next october for another 3 weeks in pop! Were now having to change this as we are having to have a new roof put on, on monday at the cost of £2500, So were now going back in Ocotber 2010 I know i shouldn't be sad as i know I am going back but it seems like such a long time to wait.

Well 2 more of simons books to read and plenty of planning and saving time Plus a secure roof when the winter winds come. The roof has been there for about 85 years. I begged Dh to cancel the roof and rebook but he wasn't having any of it!! DD whos 6 is fine about it, its DH and myslef who are gutted, also his mum and dad who we go with.

Never mind, it will soon come round and you will have a fab time planning.

Have you thought about umbrellas instead of the new roof, much cheeper

Yuor DH sounds very sensible We can't go back until 2010 either and i am desperate to go back I don't know whether to go in May/June 2010 and catch the flower festival or go Oct 2010 for Halloween, still I've got plenty of time to decide

He is! We are trying to dicide between May/June and October too. We have been at both time of the year and it was slighty less busy in October than Mid June and the wetaher was more bearable, but both great times to go

As others have already said-somethings must come first+2010 will soon speed on by-Heck we haven't been to WDW since 2004-as things kept getting in the way,although one 'thing' was our precious 2nd daughter +would'nt change her for WDW,and now we have only just under 9months to go.I remember a thread on the general community board only last week of a woman who had no health insurance but had a WDW fund ,unfortunatley she ended up in hospital with about a $5000 invoice and is now having to use all her WDW savings to pay it.x.

I've started planning a holiday to turkey for next august now to keep us going. We lover Turkey so were all looking forward to that!

We have been married ten years October 2010 and would like to renew our vows and were thinking of doing it at disney

We're waiting on May 2010 too! I feel your pain shellbell!!

It'll be worth it in the end though, like you say, you can do plenty planning and dreaming about WDW until your return, thats what I plan on doing!

I still check in here most days to see what's going on, I just can't help it! So I plan to make the DIS my Disney home and fix for the next 24 months

Oh, and at least you'll have a nice dry house for Christmas, can't think of anything worse at all than loosing all those Disney ornements to the typical British weather

It'll come around before you know it I'm not sure when we'll get back to WDW (mostly because we want to visit other places on our 'must do' list while we don't have the financial responsibility of a mortgage or kids!) but i'm looking forward to it and semi-planning for whenever that may be

Of course 2010 is such a long way off, but you have so long to save up lots of money so that you can buy whatever you want when you're out there. I'm waiting until 2012, because I need that long to save up all the money I know I'm going to spend! lol. That, and we're going to tie it in with mine and my boyfriend's 10 year anniversary! x
