Hi all. We will be in Disney for Christmas this year :cloud9: Celebrating my son's 10th birthday- he is a Christmas baby- born 2 days after christmas. Doing a once in a lifetime trip to Grand Floridian  The problem is we have one too many places we want to eat for dinner and can't fit them all in. I know we have problems :rotfl:

Please vote on which restaurant you would drop if you had to drop one. We have eaten at all but Artist Point. And would like to return to all of the ones on the list but one must go. We'd really appreciate any input you could give us :tink:

I picked CG-I know the fireworks view is great but I didn't love the food.

Love the filet @ Jiko and le Cellier. I do like Le Cellier for lunch though not sure its worth 2 credits at dinner.

Almond-crusted cheesecake @ Narcoosee's

Haven't gone to Artist's Point.

Le Cellier doesn't compare to the others on the list, I would drop that one.

I have not done Le Cellier dinner since it has become a signature so I didn't feel it was fair to vote for it.

Narcoosees is by far my least favorite of the WDW signatures; our last 2 meals here have been very disappointing. Your children may enjoy it since it does offer nice views of the lagoon but the food is not up to par.

I chose Le Cellier....While, we really love Le Cellier, we won't pay 2 credits for the dinner when we can get the filet at lunch for 1 credit. I love all the other signatures you have and feel they're worth 2 credits, to us! :)

I too was going to say move Le Cell to lunch and then you're all set, but I haven't eaten there in years, so I may not be the best judge.

If you've eaten at all and like them all, then I would drop AP. We did AP in March, and while it was pretty good, I wouldn't rave about it. There were some other things going on at the time that made it less magical, but the food didn't really stand out.

I vote that you don't cancel any of them until you are actually on your trip. I always book one extra meal than I know we will need. As much of a planner as I am, something always changes once we are in the middle of the trip. There is usually one ADR we just cannot get to or don't feel like going to, so then I have an extra one later in the trip.

And for all of you flame throwers, please know that I cancel any ADR's as soon as I realize we cannot make it! Whew...........

I suppose I would make my least wanted ADR the last one on the trip! For us, I always book a character breakfast on our last morning in the parks before we head home. If we don't have any credits left, I cancel it. If we've skipped an earlier ADR in our trip, then we enjoy breakfast with Mickey!

I would drop Le Cellier. I've been disappointed the last two times we went there. IMO, it's not as good as it used to be.

Well I wouldn't drop Artist Point. We've eaten there several times and always enjoy it. But more because you're going to want to see that lobby at Christmas!

I agree with dropping Le Cellier or maybe Jiko, not because it's not wonderful, but because it might not be something a 10-year-old would fully enjoy. Let us know what you decide.

I also think you should keep AP because the WL is so spectacular at Christmastime. Frankly, thinking about a 10 year old's tastes, I voted to drop Cali Grill unless you absolutely need that one for fireworks viewing. If you do then I would drop Narcoossees's instead.

I've been to all of them quite often (including Le Cellier for its new dinner menu three times), and LC is the one I would drop.

California Grill has some excellent appetizers, sushi, and seafood dishes on the menu, plus the lagoon view is beautiful (I don't particularly care for the fireworks view from here).

Artist Point is one of my two favorite signatures. The food is quite unique, and there are some really innovative, delicious dishes. The cedar plank salmon and the berry cobbler are excellent.

Jiko is another one of my favorites. Like Artist Point, the food is interesting and usually very high quality. The wild boar appetizer is one of the best appetizers I've had at WDW.

Narcoossee's is pretty good. I like it more than Flying Fish, which gets raves here. Being right on the water is very beautiful, and some of the standout dishes here are calamari, crab cakes, crab crusted fish (usually halibut, mahi mahi, or flounder) and the almond crusted cheesecake. This is one of the only places you can order lobster as an entree. Plus, if you're staying at GF, it would probably be nice to eat at your resort one night.

Finally, Le Cellier. It's very good, IMO, but as others have pointed out you can get the mushroom filet with truffle butter (their signature entree) at lunch for cheaper. The menu isn't as interesting as the menus at the resort signatures you've selected.

I'd drop Le Cellier. If you are going for steak, Jiko has a much better one.
We love every one of the others you chose. We were not impressed with Le Cellier.

I was torn between Narcoosee's & Le Cellier, but picked Narcoosee's. Going to Epcot without eating in a World Showcase restaurant would make me sad.

If you're going Christmas week, I'm thinking transportation hastle and delays, even if you have your own transportation...so I voted to drop Jiko.
