Have Private RIP Tour Booked, Have a Few Questions

We have a private RIP tour booked for Sunday, October 9th. We thought we'd start our day at IOA and then head over to USO for HHN. We need to eat something before we head over though, and then eat again when our guide takes their break. Should we eat at either IOA or City Walk and use the VIP entrance or enter USO before it closes and get into a holding area? Will City Walk be too packed with people waiting to enter HHN, therefore we should eat at IOA?

Most of the time, the crowds start to heard into the Studios around 3pm, as many like to be in holding areas inside the park. I would eat at IOA and then head to the Studios. Or leave IOA around 2, eat a quick meal at CityWalk or go over to the Studios and eat in the park. Have a great time. I will be there doing the opposite, as not doing HHN that night.

Just did this last Thurs. We left the park to eat in Citywalk, and it wasn't too crowded. Once you're done, There is a VIP entrance that does not open until 6pm. However, you can wait right outside it, away from the masses.


Also note that this year, US started a VIP hot food perk. It isn't a full meal, but they have apps and snacks for the first few hours of your tour.
