Last night my window opened at midnight, and like most people, I was after a Frozen fastpass. I had it and accidently canceled at the wrong point and lost it, and then somehow when I rebooked, I have me on one "fastpass" and my DH and daughter on a separate one. My screen looks like we are all booked, but my husband and daughter are from 3-4 and I am from 3:30 to 4:30. I thought we would just all go at 3:30 and all would be well, but my screen says "Time Overlap" between these two reservations. Does this mean I really don't have a reservation or that I will have issues when we try to redeem this ? I just read that fastpasses cannot overlap, which I understand if it was everyone in my party trying to do two for the same time period?

I can't speak for this exact situation because I haven't been there, but the FP+ system will not let you book overlapping fastpasses. It simply will not do it, the "time overlap" is just for information.

For example, I booked a FP+ in May & had a dinner reservation I think 30 minutes before it, it assumed I would take an hour to eat & therefore warned me of a potential overlap. No issues occurred.

Those being your slots turn up at 3:30 & you'll all be grand.

You are fine, I have FP+ set up for my kids that "overlap" Two kids have SM and the rest of us have Buzz. In MDE they say time overlap. Just go at 3:30 when you can all get in and it will be fine. Enjoy!!

An individual can't have two overlapping FP+s, but different people in your party can. Also, the system will allow overlaps with ADRs. You are fine. Back when FP+ was still testing in October, we took overlapping times for ETWB, and everything was fine. You just need to make sure that everyone shows up during the overlap if you want to experience the attraction together, or they may be denied admission.

Thank you all so much for easing my mind! I hated to get my little girl excited to see E&A only to be told mom had messed up and sorry, you can't go in :)

That is exactly what they would say to your little girl too.

"We'd love to let you in little girl but unfortunately your Mom messed it up." (Doors swing shut slowly and close with a ponderous slam)

;)
