Have I made a planning error

We are going to be at WDW the week after Christmas. We're only planning 1 day at MK, and 2 days at Epcot. I promised DH & DS that we would do alot of other things this time. Here's the problem: We have stayed on site many times and have never taken advantage of EMH. My guys just aren't early risers, especially on vacation. I have planned to go to MK & Epcot on non-EMH days, hoping they would be a little less crowded. Now I'm reading all the posts that says you have to take advantage of EMH this week. Did I really goof? I'm afraid there's not much I can do about it now anyway, since most PS times are probably already gone. What do you think? Thanks for your advice. :)

This is a very busy week. If you use EMH you will have an hour or so of shorter lines then you will have to hop to another park.

If you choose a park that had EMH the day before you will probably do just as well, if you get there at opening.

No matter what you do, though, the crowds are going to be very heavy. Use fast pass and be patient and have a magical trip!

I just checked my schedule. I have planned our MK day, the day before EMH. We won't be park hopping, because we're only planning 3 days in the WDW parks, and two of them are at Epcot, which can't be changed. Should I try to change the MK day to the EMH, the day after EMH day, or leave it like it is, since we plan on staying in MK the whole day, when we go? Any thoughts? Thanks again! :)
