Have any non-BCV owners been able to get ressies???

We have OKW ressies for December, I was going to go on the BWV wait list once the 7 month window comes around, but I was also considering BCV waitlist.

Any comments???

I was able to get reservation for Labor Day weekend with no problem. Just call at the 7 month mark and see what if available - you never know.

This is JMHO, but I think you have the best chance at BCV. There is already a waitlist for most December dates at BWV. I hope you have good luck, but of course, if you don't, OKW is a great back up (also, IMHO).

I've been lucky the past two years, the first time we were waitlisted for about two weeks and the second time about a month. Not too bad in my opionion. Actually I can't make it this December - the rest of my family will be going though.

I still have August in an OKW GV to look forward too though!

I was able to get reservations for a week 10/13 to 10/21 at the 7 month window with no problem. Try it, I was willing to take a reservation at BCV, VWL, or OKW and got BCV which was my first choice. I'll try OKW another time. Stayed at VWL last year. Gotta love that flexibility!!

Keeping my fingers crossed that it will still be there at the 7 month point but I just called and they said there is still at least the 2nd week of December at BCV.

We called at 6 months out and BCV was not available but BWV was (end of August). We took BWV and put our names on a waitlist for BCV.

About one week later, we got a call that the BCV was available so we moved our reservations....we are so happy! She told me they are releasing BCV inventory bit by bit as it's sold so if you want to stay there, definitely put your name on that list!

We're (well, actually "they're") not going until 12/13-12/20 so I have a couple of weeks before I can even get on the wait list.

Can you be on two wait lists at the same time???

yes, you can be waitlisted at more than one DVC resort at a time.

My DH and I own at BWV and VWL and we got ressies at BCV for Oct 25 through Nov 2 at the 7 month window with no problems at all.

I just made my first night's reservation at BCV today for a 2 BDR on November 30th. No problem at all. If you call member services, they can tell you how room availablity looks for your timeframe if it is not too far off.

We were wait listed at BWV at 7mo. for a 2 bedroom for our August 17-24 trip. When they started taking reservations for BCV we got on that wait list too. BCV came through first so we took it. I also called at the 7mo window (we own at VWL) for Nov. 9-12 for a studio at BWV and there was only a 1 bedroom available. But I was able to get a studio at BCV without any problem.

We will also be at BCV from 10/13 to 10/21 in a 1BR. Called at 7 month window (not day by day) and got right in. They did tell me, however, that the only size accommodation available was a 1BR which was exactly what we wanted anyway.

We will be there in early Nov. and had no trouble getting BCV ressies at 7 months. In fact, the CM told me that there was plenty of inventory for the week I was looking for. I'm glad so many of us have been able to get our requests.

We got a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom at BCV for the 11/23-11/30 week, Thanksgiving. We did it day by day with only one glitch, we were waitlisted for the two bedroom thanksgiving night, but next day there was a 2 bedroom available for that night so itall worked out!

DW and I got a studio for Oct. 20-25 @ 6mo. Called MS yesterday and switched to 1 bedroom with no problem.

We are going 6 nights in the beginning of Nov. We are waitlisted for the BCV for the last 3 nights. ( we rented points). The reservationist said there should be no problems because more inventory is added all the time as people buy into it. Here's hoping she's right

We had no problem reserving a two bedroom for the first week of July. We own OKW and BWV.

We got a studio for the weeks of 7/28 and 8/4 without a problem.

We have the nights of 12/1 and 12/2 reserved for a studio at BCV. I'll be calling next week through Wednesday to get the reservation from 12/1-12/8. The CM said there was plenty of availability for those dates. BWV studios are waitlisting for that week.
