I noticed it's an EMH all that week. We are staying offsite. Will we have a problem getting into MK at this time. Thanks for any help.

There is no EMH for the MK on December 30th, so as long as you have an ADR, you should be able to get in.

According to the Disney site, there is an EMH on that day. Is that correct or am I missing something, which is very possible.:confused3

oops you're right, sorry but for some reason the calendar under the DIS park hours is showing no EMH on the 30th. I'm not sure how that works when there is EMH & you're an off-site guest. Hopefully somebody else can help you.

Actually, EMH just means you need your room key to get onto rides. Anyone can be in the park. (Why would they kick out all those retail shop customers, you know?)

Actually, Disney policy for morning EMH is that you have to have a valid park ticket and a valid resort ID in order to get into the park at all. Evening EMHs are a little different - non-resort guests are already in the parks and are simply restricted from getting onto attractions. (I'm not even sure that you can even get into a restaurant during evening EMH without showing a resort ID). But if there is a morning EMH, I'm afraid that just having an ADR may not be enough if you're staying off-site - you'll probably be asked to show a valid resort room key. I'm not sure I ever saw a definitive answer here about this issue, so you may want to call Disney dining to see if you can get into the park for your ADR during a morning EMH if you aren't a resort guest.

1) The question is good.
2) The answers are moot.

3) This is an ADR.
4) You can get in early for an ADR, whether on-site or off-site.
5) You present your admission ticket at the left-most turnstile.
6) You tell them your ADR and confirmation number.
7) They let you in about 15-minutes prior to the ADR time.

This is a response from Cheshire Figment to an earlier post about the same question:

"They do not use wristbands any more for any EMH. Technically only people who have a REsort ID are allowed to enter during morning EMH.

If you have a reservation for breakfast prior to Park opening and it is Morning EMH it is my opinion (not know fact) that you will not be allowed in unless your reservation is at CRT. Even though your name is on the list of people with ADRs, there is no way to penalize you for coming in with your name on the list and then going over to attractions. The reason CRT may have an exception is it is prepaid and if you are a no-show you wll lose the payment you made.

For Evening EMH even if you have a reservation, you will not be allowed into a restaurant during the MH period unless you have a Resort ID."

I don't mean to prolong the debate, since I certainly don't have the definitive answer. I would just hate to have the OP show up for her ADR and be refused admission because she isn't a resort guest - which, according to Cheshire Figment, is a real possibility and would be consistent with Disney policy. That's why I suggested she speak to Disney dining to be sure of the situation.

I concur with jaysmom4285. I'd call 407-WDW-DINE and ask. As accomodating as Disney is with regards to just about everything else, though, I *seriously* doubt this will be a problem. Having said that, I'd still call. (and let us know what they say!)

Okay, here's the answer. In fact the CM I talked to said of course, no problem. Then I said, " Are you sure?" She put me on hold several times, called another number and said YES :cool1: as long as you have your confirmation # with you. So, needless to say, I'm happy, since there are EMH AM from Dec. 24-Jan. 2nd inclusive.
Thanks for the help.
