Have a complaint or vent

We just got back from a 7 night stay and I enjoyed most of our meal. The Wave was really a miss this time. But the thing that really upset me is that if you dine with six you have to give 18% weather the service was good or not, but if you go seperate they still recomend the 18% I don't understand why they feel that they need to tell you what you tip, even when you eat at a buffet.
