So now that my March trip is getting closer I thought I would share some intresting facts that I have learned about Disney. No I am not doing the Disney Trivia like I did before the May trip (I am going to save those for when I am closer to the trip with my DD), just some intresting facts that I learned about Disney.

So the first fact is one that will appeal to all of you Tinkerbell lovers. It seems as if Tinkerbell was never meant to do anything except her part in Peter Pan. What saved her? Well when Walt Diney was planning Disneyland everyone was telling him what a bad idea it was and he shouldn't use his most beloved charcters to headline at the part. The fear was that the park would do poorly and bring down the characters as well. Walt's solution was to have Tinkerbell and Jimminy Cricket as the charters to open Disneyland. Makes sense doesn't it. Who narrates Wishes every night? While our favorite green fairy flies from castle at it's beginning!

I can just imagine everybody taking our pictures so they can try to figure out what important person they just saw at Epcot.

So here is today's Disney Secret (or fact)

As you leave the haunted mansion look at the floor. Do you see the ring in the cement? The story goes that this was the wedding ring from the bride and was pounded into the cement by the invisible horse.

Only 18 days to go. I am so excited!!!!!

Oh and just to update you, I called and explained to them about my ankles and requested a room on the ground floor or close to the elevator, and close to the bus stop. I am just a little worried that since I am arriving so late that I will not get the room I need. Well at least I will be at WDW.

Only 17 more days until I leave for Disney, my ticker say 16 but I don't it counts today. I like that number better, but since I am not going to get there until very late I will keep my number just where it is.

My feet are doing pretty good, so good that I was able to do some sewing today. I finished one of the legs of my capris and put on all the square on the other side. Today the plan is to stich around the squares and add the trim to the bottom of the leg.

Then I will just have a flag and a bag to finish. Better get a move on it.

I have thought about it, but I would definatly have to look for one that has a shuttle service unless my friend wants to shell out for a rental car. I am glad you are on my side. I emailed my friend some information last night so I am just waiting to find out what he thinks. If I don't hear from him by tomarrow night I will call him on Monday. Since the trip I am hoping to make is only two months away, we need to figure out what we are doing.

So I have some good new and bad news.

I will start with the good news. As you have read earlier I have breakfast resservations for both Crystal Palace and Tusker House. My wish for both of these reservations were to be able to get a pre rope drop reservation so I could see the parks with out all the people around. Unfortunatly at the time I made them the earliest I could get was about 9:30 for both of them. Not bad, but I have been checking the Web site all the time in hopes of finding something earlier. About last week I lucked out and found a CP for 8:50. Perfect! So I snagged as fast as my little fingers could type. (Thank goodness for those typing classes.) I checked again for Tusker House but I would not be in luck at this time. But it didn't stop me from looking. I took a look a couple of minutes ago and to my supprise there was one available for 8:30. How happy can I be?

So here is the bad news. Last year Liam participated in a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis and even wore a tux to the event. Well they called me last week to see if he could do it again this year, the problem is that it is on March 11th. I figured it out and his aunt is going to take him. It works out since it is a wine tasting event and she loves wine. But then this morning I found a flier that Mia put on the table from her back pack. Her first grade school concerst is on March 8th. I am very upset about this. It will be her first school concert and I will be missing it. I must admite that if it wasn't for the fact that I have put a lot of time and money in this trip I might be cancelling it. My mom is going to record it for me and at least that is something, right?

So let me first say how sorry I am that I have been MIA for a couple days. I don't have a real good excuse, I just have been really busy around here. I guess since I am feeling a little guilty about going to WDW with out my kids that I am trying to spend as much time as I can with them.

Oh, Corrine! I'm so sorry you'll be missing out on some activities for your kids! I'm glad to hear that your aunt and your mom will help out and take pictures and video, so you can at least enjoy the highlights!

I will definatly be doing something special with the kids when I get back from my trip, but we do something special before my trip as well. Rylan's birthday is on March 5 so we are going to have a small birthday party for him probably on that night. I was planning on doing it on the 6th, but I forgot that Liam has a Cub Scout meeting that night so I am going to have to replan.

So last night I took Liam to this Blue and Gold Dinner for his cub scout meeting. We had a lot of fun and ended up coming home with a set of 8 pool passes for the local pool. It came in a nice new bag that would be perfect for a pool bag. The kids ( I also brought Mia) each got a goodie bag that had a coupon for a kid meal at Chili's and Applebee's, and for a free gym session. Now I just need a good date night to take them out for dinner.

Tomorrow I will be able to do on line check in for my room, but since I already have my request in and there shouldn't be a line when I arrive, I am not sure if I am going to utilize it. Still its just another sign that the trip is getting so close.

So yesterday I couldn't help but bend to the urge to do the on-line check in . What can I say, I am just a slave to peer pressure.

So I have to tell you all what happened the other night. I was in bed watching Netflix on my Kindle Fire when I felt something moving by my leg. My first thought was that the baby was trying to climb into bed with me. Than I realized that the baby was in his crib and there was no way that he could get out of his bed. It was than that I felt it touch me leg and I felt fur.

Ok, before you ask we do have two dogs but they were both downstairs so the feel of fur on my leg had me jumping in my bed and shrieking. I immediatly turned on my light and started searching, but of course I didn't see anything.

My first thoughts were there was a mouse or rat in my bed which made me want to run around screaming like a girl. But when I had a chance to think about it for a minute, I went to my sons room and found out what happened. Teddy the hampster was not in his cage.

Well I am feeling alot better that the scruff of fur that touched my leg was a family pet and not a wild roddent out to bite me, but a little upset that Liam didn't close the cage door properly when he feed Teddy and he got out of his cage. So I put the cage on the floor and went back to bed expecting to feel something furry against my legs again. Liam ended up sleeping in my bed with me because he was scared that Teddy was going to crawl in his bed and bite him.

The happy ending to my little story came when I went to the bathroom at about 1:30am. Before going back to bed I checked Liam' room and Teddy had found his way back to his cage. So I closed the door and put him back on the table where he belongs. I guess he need to just stretch his legs for a little while.

Oh and I wanted to celebrate that I am finally in single digits.

Oh, wow! I'd be terrified too if something touched me and I wasn't quite sure what it was! The kitty has crawled in bed (under the covers) before and startled me ... but eeep! So glad that Teddy found his way "home".
