Haunted Sticky keys?

How do you people play Haunted Mansion? Every time I try to play I get this weird message about Sticky keys and it freezes the game and then I get sent back to the lobby. I hate this game I can't play it ever! And it is not just my computer it does the same thing on my work computer and moms. What am I doing wrong?
Please help.

yeah that happened to me its on your computer its when you hit shift too many times, what worked for me is using the control button instead .

What key are you using to catch ghosts? I use the "ctrl" key on the right. Some people use the "enter" key, but I find that will open my stickies, too. You can either disable your sticky keys or try using ctrl.

yeah Windows doesn't like you hitting shift too much. Hit the ctrl key instead.

Well on my Keyboard ctrl is at the bottom so it is hard for me. In my key board i also have two shift buttons so when I get the message on the first shift button i go to the next.

Easy to fix. Open Accessibility Options from the Control Panel and make sure the box next to StickKeys is NOT checked.

Just use the control key. Every now and then i get it if my hand is off normal position. It is funny though My latptop has a function key next to a smaller control key and when I switch to it I sometimes realize I am catching no ghosts because I have the wrong key. LOL

My computer is special, when I disable sticky keys they come back on. I just click cancel everytime and that solves the problem.

I use the Control key and every once in a while I get the message as well. I just click cancel and I am usually good until the end of the game.

OOPS. I forgot the most important part! Also click the Settings button in the StickyKeys box (in the Accessibility Options section of the Windows Control Panel) and clear the check in the box marked "Use shortcut." With this change (and with "Use StickyKeys" un-checked as well) this will never bother you again!
