Haunted Mansion giving out wrong credits?

Maybe I haven't been paying attention until today...but has anyone noticed that HM is giving out wrong credits???

My last two games:
51 ghosts = 255 credits --> received 185 credits
36 ghosts = 180 credits --> received 150 credits

(Don't laugh at my scores! )

Anyone else notice a problem?

It's because when you rescue someone from the other team for 2 bonus ghost
points you don't get the credits from the 2 bonus points each time you rescue
someone. I wish you did though..

You're kidding! I never knew that. And...quite frankly...that stinks.

You don't get credits for the ghosts that are counted when you "turn back" your opponent. (I think that's how it's been explained to me. Right, Ghost Catchers?)

So....

51 ghosts
-14 "turn back ghosts"
--------
37 ghosts caught
x 5 credits/ghost
------
185 credits

.... I think.

As a "Ghost Catcher" living a month in a pirate world . Dreams and Shark explained it correctly. It really stinks now that our Double Credits are gone.

yes its always been that way. They know what we would do to their game if if you could score your opponents for credits

i wouldnt even bother catching ghosts. It wouldnt be a ghost catch game any more, it would be a catcvh the other guy after he has been caught game.

Heck, I would log a clone on and have him turned the entire time. I swear I could easily get 1400 ghosts a game that way! haha at 5 credits each... better than fireworks on GoofyGeggy's best day!

Well then it's back to the Fireworks lobby for me.

I can't play pirates to save my life and HM isn't the cash cow I was hoping for.

I'm doing great at Checkers but the payouts are pretty far apart once you pass 100 games.

I may try to do some double pirates ship battle games today but I'm not
good at pirates so I'll probably be right back in the fireworks lobby again.

Once you start scoring big points in fireworks it really pays off, unlike mansion
which completely fills up with the opposite color ghost when your opponent
isn't doing well.

Which is why I haven't played hardly any Checkers games since the week after it was released...

It's really sad, too, because it's a very fun game! Too time consuming for the extreme lack of credits, though.

HM needs to go back to double credits. Your success depends so much on your opponents ability in that game. I like helping newbies, but this hurts my chance for credits when they only score a couple each round.

I'm okay at fireworks, but I find the repetition so boring after a couple of games. I wish they would mix it up a bit.

I stink at pirates. I would play more often to "practice", but I'm tired of getting whipped with the cat o' nine tails comments. People really take the role of pirate seriously. Come on folks, lighten up and give a Smee a chance.

You don't have to be good to play friendy pirates
Even if your bad the least you can walk away with is 200 a game when your side wins and it only takes like 2 minutes!
