Haunted Hayride at Fort Wilderness?

The trolley driver at MK mentioned the Haunted Hayride in October over at Fort Wilderness. He mentioned that they have the "Headless Horseman" and other stories brought to life. Has anyone done this? Any input? Thanks!

I did this 3 years ago. A stranger comes aboard the wagon and starts telling his story witch is all about Icabod Crain. You see eirie sights along the way and at the end you see the headless Horseman. The stranger is Braum Bone. It was about 30 minutes long.. There are no other stories told just Icabod Crain...

We did the Haunted Hayride in October 2003. There is a nominal cost of ~$10. In front of Pioneer Hall there was a freestanding podium (directly across from the entrance to the Hoop De Doo). A CM was there all day long with info of times, cost, and reservations. In the early part of our vacation we made the ressie and paid for our ride a few days later. We rode a horse-drawn wagon down the swamp trail at our specified time at night and the character who joined us was very good (dressed in period clothing and the only tip off was a Coleman lantern he carried!). It is basically an out-and-back ride with a special effect at the turnaround that I won't spoil but it was fun. The only drawback were some kids on the trail at night who interrupted the character's "telling of the tale" but he handled it smoothly.

I would recommend it as it is part of the nostalgia and history we don't have much of anymore.
