Amen! I could care less if people where hats are not. I would rather have a family all wearing hats, tshirts, and shorts eating quietly next to me than some family all dressed in polos or hillfiggerwithout hats, but the kids are running around wildly and the parents are talking on their cell phones. That would be disrespectful, not someone who doesn't want to remove their hat because their hair was all sweaty and out of shape. I mean really, don't we have bigger problems in this world to worry about than hat ettiquette. Good grief!
Actually, I think the hat staying on and the people behaving like you stated are both bad. The both exhibit poor behavior.
If a person is so vain to worry about how their hair looks after wearing a hat at the parks well I guess they have a few choices:
1. To not wear a hat in the first place
2. Bring a comb or brush to fix their hair after removing their hat
3. Leave on their hat and appear to be a person with a lack of manners
