From what I read, Hasbro now has the right to all the Disney Princess dolls, rather than Mattel.

I still find it weird that the company that owns Transformers, which has a ride in Universal Studios to make Disney toys. Maybe it is because Disney now owns Marvel. Guardians of The Galaxy action figures.

Not weird at all. Hasbro is, afterall, an international, multi-billion dollar toy company and one of the largest toy companies in the world. Transformers is just one of their many successful products, but not the only one.

I, also, am not surprised to see the partnership between these two companies and I'm sure Hasbro is very excited to add the Disney Princess Franchise to their portfolio .

BTW Hasbro makes Star Wars toys as well, and that's probably one of Disney's most valuable toy properties.
