I think at the time they were bumping BC guests over to BCV due to renovations around the BC courtyard.

When a Disney hotel bumps a guest to a DVC resort, do you think the hotel reimburses DVC the same cash rate as a members would pay for a cash room? :scratchin

Did they ask you if this was OK, or did they just do it?

Aerosmith, cool... BUT - If I had made ressies 11 months out as part of a TIMESHARE like we all own, I wodul be a littel peeved if I got bumped once I arrived because a "star" wanted my room.

I recall awhiel back another DISer getting the bump from hsi grand villa he had reserved at 11 months out at OKW. He was told after a little bit of a run around that it was due to renovations!?! They were pretty bummed. I can bet it was more like a VIP wanted hsi room. If I recall right it was during soem golf tounament.

I'm sorry if this sounds lame, but if I get the bump I want soem sort of compensation for the move and disappointment, like some of my points reimbursed or given a larger villa. It appears this is how they handle it usually - giving back soem of your points.

I plan my trips out 11 or 7 montsh in advance, I except to ahve a room when I arrive for the dues and money I paid to join DVC. I know thinsg can happen, if they do? I woudl think they shoudl bump the perosn who booked the most recent (Even a non member cash guest) and compensate them accordingly, WITH APOLOGIES.
