We leave this weekend. My son’s first tooth is ready to fall out. Any ideas you might have that will make it special for him should it fall out on the cruise?

Didn't lose her tooth onboard, but DD6 lost her front tooth at 40,000 ft on the way to Disney and lost her second front tooth eating a hotdog at Casey Corner on Main Street last November. She was so excited she lost her teeth at Disney. Made for some great pictures. So she was visted by the tooth fairy and tinkerbell twice during our visit. Told her tinkerbell had to show the tooth fairy where she was because she wasn't home in her bed and that tinkerbell exchanged disney dollars with the toothfairy so she could spend her money in Disney. DD was thrilled.

Maybe there are some cute things onboard "the toothfairy" could put under the pillow.

:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Our daughter didn't lose her first but she did lose one while in the club. The counselor was very nice and put it in a plastic baggy for her. She was very impressed when the tooth fairy came while she was on the Disney boat! :flower:

My DD lost her first tooth at WDW but my other DD lost a tooth onboard...not her first though....I had Disney Dollars with me so the tooth fairy put that under her pillow!!!

Can't remember where I read it - but someone said they were going to bring along a little glitter to sprinkle around since you know Tinkerbelle comes with the tooth fairy while onboard. I thought that was a cute idea.

We are leaving this weekend (today actually) for a Saturday departure on the Magic. DD's 2 front teeth are going to fall out any day now... Not her first, but she is excited about the prospect of the tooth fairy coming on the ship. We told her we would send a message to the captain so we would be able to send a signal to the tooth fairy so she could find us!

I'm the one that packed the glitter. My daughter lost a tooth the first night (not her first tooth) and we left money and gold glitter under her pillow (just a tiny little amount) and she was really surprised when she woke up. Wish I would have thought about Disney Dollars instead of cash, that would have been cute too. We also met a couple from NC and their daugther had a very loose tooth and we told them our idea and that we would get the glitter to them if we saw them again (one of those people you meet on the first day and seem to run into all the time). We kept it with us and ran into them a few hours later. Not sure if she lost it during the cruise, but they were prepared if she did. My DD was convienced that tinkerbell took over tooth fairy duty on the boat, it was cute!

We had a similar situation but at WDW and not on the cruise. We told my DS that Tink would have to fill in for the tooth fairy because she is a very jealous fairy and wouldn't let the Tooth Fairy anywhere near DisneyWorld! :rotfl2:

Our daughter lost a tooth while on board the Wonder. The shops were already closed and I did not know what to do. I wanted to do something special since we on a cruise. I went to Guest Services and they gave me a small baggie with glitter in it as well as some small feathers and an autographed picture of all of the characters acknowledging that she had lost a tooth.

When she woke up the next morning and the tooth fairy, in this case tinkerbell, had been there all of the children were jealous and wanted to lose their teeth.

Disney always knows how to do things special.

Our DD lost her tooth at AKL. It was late at night and all we had was a 5 dollar bill and were too tired from park hopping all day so just slipped that under her pillow...and then explained it must be a Disney Tooth Fairy...to which she replied "yeah, because everything is more money at disney world"

Apparently we weren't quite a subtle in our disney cost complaints as we had thought! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My DS lost one of his front teeth on the Magic, went to guest services to ask if they could do something special and they said NO! It was not a special
Disney moment that it could have been.

I think a Limited Edition or Artist Choice DCL pin is a perfect exchange for one baby tooth!!!!

My DS lost his first tooth while eating corn on the cob in Parot's Cay on the Disney Wonder May 2003. He was sooooo thrilled. :cool1: Then it hit him.....we're out at sea...how's the Tooth Fairy going to find him? :confused3 Well, he was so excited that he told EVERYONE about his lost tooth. He told Cinderella, who assured him that she would let Tinkerbelle know. Cinderella was great! :cheer2: He stopped worrying after that. The next morning he was happy to learn that Cinderella was true to her word. Tinkerbelle left a Peter Pan gift set under his pillow....complete with sword, eye patch and even a parrot to wear on his wrist. He thought it was the coolest thing! :wizard:

wow, this is great! haven't thought about it, but our DS5 will be loosing his very first tooth soon, i assume! we're going when he will just have turned 6. although his teeth are not wiggling as of yet, it might when we travel. so this is good to know! :flower:

My dd had a tooth that needed to be capped after a really bad cavity. It was her "silver tooth." A big ol' molar!

She ended up losing it during dinner on, of all nights, PIRATE night!! The servers were pretty funny about trying to get her "treasure."

She did NOT leave it for the tooth fairy. She still has it. :)

My DGD princess: lost her front tooth at the character breakfast. Mickey jestered for her to put it under her pillow. Dale showed her that they had look alike smiles. We were at Key West until 12:30 so We couldn't shop on board. I was hoping for anything Tinkerbelle. We settled for Tink leaving her a palm tree necklace & money. It worked. ;)

We just got off the Magic on April 16, 2005. One of the CM in the kids club told me that they make a crown out of pipe cleaners for the child who looses his/her tooth. My 6 year old has a very loose tooth - but we are still waiting for it to fall out.

My now 3 year old was celebrating her birthday on board and they sent her one of those crowns I mentioned, and a certificate. The next day they sent a crown for the older one as well - so she would not feel left out.

The crowns are beautiful - I will try to replicate them for future parties.
