I wasn't laughing that morning, but when I told the story at work the next night, we all had tears running down our faces. I think a lot of the laughter came because they all knew all the stuff my kids did while I was at work and Dad was home. (DH could sleep through the house falling down)
BOY am I glad that I am not a child phschologist!
wore off with the years..
. The toilet started over flowing, but instead of coming to get me she tried to "fix it" herself. By the time I realized there was something wrong there was almost an inch of water in the bathroom and hallway. Turned off the water, cleaned up as best I could, and called the plumber. DD had shoved the braclets so far in there that something got broken off and the entire toilet had to be replaced. Then when she was eight we went to the roller skating rink with our church and she fell and bumped her head, on the way home she started throwing up, projectile vomiting, (she had a concussion) all over my new car. Some of the stains in the back never came out.
Seems step-son had "*gently* placed his foot on soap dish to wash it and for NO REASON the soap dish just decided to fall right out of the ceramic tile wall"! Right!
