have you all ever heard my ceiling fan story?

Funny now, not funny then!
Three DD's and 1 friend at my house for a sleepover. This was over 4 years ago (more like 5-6 now) when I worked overnights. I have a nice big king size bed, great for doing gymnastics on!(NOT) I also HAD a gorgeous expensive ceiling fan above it.The girls had been told multiple times not to do flips and stuff on the bed, but Mom is gone, Dad is sleeping on the couch...so let's flip my youngest through the air, have her do a somersault and land on the bed. Trouble started when her foot hit the blade and broke it off. They decided to try to hot glue it back on, that didn't work. Oldest DD had the brilliant idea..Let's trun the fan on and see if you can tell the blade is gone if it's going around really fast. They turn on the fan, fan is on high speed and is now wobbling really bad because it is off balance. The other blades are hitting the ceiling, second blade breaks off and flys through the air and lodges in the wall above my headboard, (thank god it wasn't a kids head!) 3 out of 4 kids and 2 cats run from the room, kids screaming. Dh wakes up and runs down to the basement to shut off the power....hears screaming from upstairs because middle dd is buried under the bed covers because she couldn't get out of the room! Now it is pitch black and she thinks it is because the fan fell down or something. DH turns power back on and remebers he can just get upstairs and flip the wall switch. I come home to a ceiling fan sitting in the middle of my kichen. I had a gouges in my ceiling, a big hole in my wall, a a useless fan. Can I tell you how much I love my kids? I didn't even yell at them, I figured they were so scared they didn't need me to yell.
