Has the construction on Main Street begun yet?

Fireworks were indeed touched off last night. They were already scheduled to be shown because of the holiday. However, since the weather forced the Parks to close early, they were moved to an earlier time.

Well all we need is them added to the calendar for the first week of March and this momma would be one happy camper.

They did have fireworks this weekend, but it was because of the holiday. I don't think they are done with the MS work quite yet....

Me too, well at the end of the week. I'm not counting on fireworks or parades tho, if they happen I'll be pleasantly surprised but if they don't I won't be disappointed.

Can anyone tell me if they added additional curb cuts? Supposedly they were going to but I would love to know if they did and exactly where. They certainly need them.

Not that I could tell but since I don't use them I don't really know where they were before. They didn't have any in the middle of the street or anything.

They have actually had fireworks most Fri. and Sat. nights (weather permitting of course) since the Holiday Season ended. We can hear them here, in addition to being scheduled on their website. The new street show (not a parade really from what I undrstand) opens mid-march as I recall.

Not when we've been there, this past weekend was the only weekend they have done the fireworks when we've been there since Jan.

Just a heads up, there's been a slight delay in completion of the track work on Main Street.

A new wall starting on the southern portion of Main Street and encompassing the eastern part of Town Square in front of the Train Station has been erected.

It's only a minor delay, and shouldn't hamper the planned return dates of regular showings of the Remember, Dreams Come True fireworks spectacular, as well as the debut of Celebrate! A Street Party in late March.
