Has something like this ever happened to you? (long!)

My best friend was addicted to Suduko. So I bought her a hand held game for Christmas. When it came time to wrap presents I can't find the game anywhere. (there's 1 I've bought)
So I tell her I bought you something else but I can't find it-give it to you when I do.
Never find it even to this day so I buy her 1 and one for myself because in the meantime I too have become addicted. (so now we are up to 3)
So I have it for months. One day my bf ran into some kind of guy machine place I did not want to go I so I wait in the truck and whip it out. He comes back and I throw it in the backseat. Ask about it a few days later he knows nothing ( I am sure he got rid of it)
So 4th of July I am standing in line at Walgreens buying a flag and they have one just hanging there. So I buy that one (4)
About a week ago I get it out and the #'s on the bottom aren't working so I exchange it yesterday. (5)
So this morning I am opening the pkg in the bathroom and I go to pull out the battery protector and the game flies into the toilet. I spring into action! Grab it out the toilet and guess what......
THIS ONE IS NOT WORKING!!
Do you think someone is trying to tell me something??

I'm addicted too, but not the hand held games...I just do paper.

the had an episode of "intervention" about issues like this-apparantly there are 12 step programs that can help.

I gave up on the handheld Sudoku because I work better being able to add notations on the paper. After six months, I'm now working on the Diabolical (hardest) Sudoku, but they take soooo long to solve. I got a carpel tunnel injury on my wrist from using the eraser so much. And I've been staying up way too late this week playing. What kind of geek gets a sports injury playing math games?
