Has DDP always been based on NIGHTS stayed (not days)?

I'm trying to see if DDP makes sense for our 2008 trip. If we stay from September 13-21, 2008, we have 8 TS/CS/S credits each?!? Not 9? Has it always been this way? Thanks in advance!

I know you already have your answer. One adder. We used the DDP in 12-06 and it was more than enough food. We used a counter service on our last day and a table service on the day we arrived. Never worried about running out of food.
