has anyone world passport for mexico?

we were thinking of trading our points for a week in mexico ,using the world passport. thinking of cancun. has anyone stayed at one of the timeshares that disney offers?

we are going to the Royal Mayan in April. I will let you know after the trip, but I hear from friends that the Royals are nice resorts.

I have not stayed in Mexico using my points, do not feel it is a good value. I own another membership at Palace Resorts in Cancun, wonderful all inclusive. I can get discounted member rates if you are interested.

I've stayed at Paradise Village near Puerto Vallarta (own there) and been to Cancun. In Cancun we stayed at VCI and toured plus walked the entire complex at all the other Royals. I'd say that the Royals are a good trade for peak (weeks 51-16) and likely not as much otherwise. While VCI was enjoyable, it's below DVC's standards plus it closes in 2007 likely to be sold as private condo's. I don't know that much about Club Baccara but what I do know doesn't suggest I want to stay there.

A 1 BR will be a better deal than a 2 BR plus you might get a 2 BR for the 1 BR price. The "studios" don't even have a kitchen as much as the DVC studios so I'd say they are definitely not worth it.
