Has anyone WON a trip to DW?

One of the radio stations here is giving away a trip a week, and I'm trying desperately to win it! And it's getting in the way of my life.

Are the odds just too great?

The good part is that I tend to go cheap...just can't bring myself to spend the big bucks... but if we WON it, well, they do it right.

I haven't, but a friend of mine in college did (well his brother did, but he went along with the family). They had a 5 or 6 day stay at the BC and loved it. Good luck to you! I always thought winning a trip would be the best way to go

my brother did and at the time his wife cried because she was so bored when they got there so they didn't even do he park. They stayed at Holiday Inn main gate I do believe it is call, tickets, air and hotel all covered but the stick in the mud rather sit on her fat derierre (sp) and not go to the happiest place on earth

I was a runner up over the summer in a contest to win a WDW trip. Instead I won a prize pack of a Disney bag, Mickey ears, polo shirt for DH, some collector cards, a water bottle, etc..
While it was pretty cool I would have almost rathered to not come so close! It was painful!

Our police chief did, before he made chief, and was still working in the detective bureau. Everything was paid for, including air fare and meals. And get this, several months later he got a check to cover the taxes!!! Actually his wife was the winner because there was a drawing at the grocery store she shopped at. Couldn't have happened to a nicer family (unless it would have been me! )!

We won a trip to DW a long time ago. It was thru McDonalds, it was the contest where you peeled the thing off the drinks. It was a trip for 4, everything paid for hopper tickets, meals and hotel at Disney.

wow, bumcat, the odds on that must have been huge. Were you fans of DW before you won, or did the trip convert you?

And were you going crazy when you peeled off the winner?

MkandK, I want to win that trip too!!! I got a flyer in the mail that has a postcard you can fill out and mail in for a drawing on Nov. 26. I have told my family I am going to win it. The only problem is it's a trip for 4 and we have 5.

mkandk- We had been to disney twice before that but it had been over 10 yrs. We were excited but didn't quite believe it was for real because there was very little information on the peel thing from the cup.
My husband actually bought the drink. I use to get angry with him because you were forced to buy a large drink and large fries if you wanted to participate. He was going to mcdonalds almost every day!!

Yes, my daughter's boyfriends mom won a trip to disney last Christmas!

Air, house rental, passes, money for EIGHT people.

They have 6 kids.

It was just a 1-day trip for me and 3 other people to see the parade before it was opened to the public the next day. We got to see LeVar Burton, Carrie Fisher, Judge Reinhold, Lacey Chabert and Jonathan Lipnicki.[/color]

The local radio station has a contest ending November 15th. Among the other choices you can take, one is:

A 4 day trip to Disney for 4 staying on site with Park tickets, etc. On top of that, there's also a 4 day cruise. They also give you $10k spending cash to use at Disney or at home.

BUT, they also give you the option of just taking $30k cash. Our odds currently are sitting at about 1 in 1,000(they show you the stats).

Keep your fingers crossed for us.

I won a trip to WDW a long time ago when I was in college.(about 15 years ago) It was through a local radio station. We stayed at the Hilton at DD. It included everything! I still have some of the tickets for the free meals and activities they gave me when I won the trip. We used free vouchers for LTT this trip, just 2 weeks ago, And a free 1/2 hour on the water mice. It was pretty cool!

I like this thread. I've always wondered if anyone actually won those prizes on different things.
Especially the McDonald's one. lol
