Has anyone wanted to change guides?

My husband and I had everything all set with our guide and then we had a family emergency. I told my guide that the down payment might have to be broken up in two if that was possible we were willing to wait until they got the down payment in full he just didn't seem understanding or sympathetic. I guess they are just all sales men. if anyone has a guide they love please send me a message I would greatly appreciate it..Thank you

I can't recommend my guide as i really don't know him. But it is easy to request a new guide. Just call and ask for member administration and ask. You may have to search though the forum. There was a relatively long thread a year or so back where everybody listed their guides and their impressions. See if you can find it. Good luck and you are right. They are salesman and i guess he thought if you were not cornered you may back out on him. Good luck and i hope everything worked out with your family emergency.

** is our guide and he is awesome! Always willing to answer any question , calls back right away and is not pushy at all. He obviously is doing something right.... We have 9 contracts

FYI-he is on a cruise right now, although he did email
me from the cruise and said he could talk to me if I needed something! He is very good that way, he totally understands the customer service aspect of his job!

Unless you are buying, you will never talk to your Guide. Some play the part and act like your friend but in reality they are there to sell timeshares. That's there job and that's how that put food on their families table.
